Could this thread be stickied please? I had to go back 5 pages to find it. New members wanting to post liknks to ebay auctions will never see it and the market place will just get unnecessarily cluttered with threads.
This lot has a reserve of £200 and he declined an offer of £250. Does anyone think hes hoping for a bit much?

Whoever wins this had better be a member of cdo and start an awesome blog. Im getting annoyed of seeing so many chaos dwarfs lots sell on ebay and never seeing them show up painted on cdo.

It went for £225. Fella shoulda taken the offer eh?

Definately. Hopefully the winner is a member of cdo. Who would spend that much on chaos dwarfs and not be a part of cdo.

Apparently this army featured in some GW publications.

£982 as a starting bid... Shock!?!?

It's a good job I'm not a hat fanatic.  For that sort of price (assuming it does sell), do you think people will buy it then sell it again seperately?

If it does sell it will probably be bought by one of these ebay shops and they will split it up and try sell off each unit for around £100 (if the fact that it appeared in gw publications is true).

If it doesnt sell it will be relisted again and again and a lower price until it sells probably.

Should i email the seller and ask them to post individual unit pics on cdo? Afterall, it looks quite well painted and if it was in any gw books then it might be worth having pics of it.

Wow ended early with Buy It Now. Was it someone here that bought it?

More pics of the army can be found here: http://s39.photobucket.com/albums/e194/m...%20Dwarfs/

I bought it... The "buy it now" price was equal to the starting bit. I love painting and converting, but with this army as a base I can begin playing as soon as it arrive, and use my little freetime on convertions and hobgoblins Tongue I will make a blog with a lot of pictures later this year Cheers!

I'm looking so much forward to this Tongue my 500 points just turned into 3000

Nice. At least it was someone here that bought it and we will get to see some more pics. I didnt think the pics on ebay did the army justice.

edit: another small army on ebay http://tinyurl.com/lzmdfy

If you made a best offer to get it down a few pounds then it would be a good buy.

Dont be fooled by a low starting price. The reserve is probably massive.

Sniping is a time honored tradition on eBay and a nessecary one.

It really is, otherwise you will never win a bid. I have only ever won once without sniping and I think is was only because the models were labled wrong so nobody else knew what it was. I feel bad doing it, but when my stuff comes in the mail all that fads away into joy joy happy feelings.

The problem with sniping is that everyone does it at the exact same time. So you need to put in a slightly higher bid to win by sniping cause you wont have time to add ina second bid if you dont bid high enough the first time.

Ive won a few thngs without sniping. I bid on a hobgoblin command group and forgot about it and won for about £4. I also won an MM90 mage hich i was very suprised at. I put in a bid of £20 or something cause i thought it was going cheapbut it was an american auction so it was finishing at 3 in the morning or something so i went to bed and when i checked in the morning i had won lol.

But the rest of my 4000 points have probably been 90% won by sniping.

Damn whats going on with chaos dwarf prics at the moment? I just saw a whirlwind go for over £40 and theres a bazooka and mortar set going for £20!

So after careful reading all 23 pages, is it safe to assume SWSNBN is "not a member here? Just the kind of online seller who's trying to make a fortune by asking sky-high prices? Fill in expletives wherever appropriate Wink

As far as i know she/he isn't a member here or if she/he is she/he has never revealed herself/himself. Although she/he probably checks the site to find good deals she/he can snap up to sell on at ridiculous prices. But i doubt she would join the site as many members have made it clear to her/him how much we are all disgusted by her/him.

I think £10 for an earthshaker and crew is a good deal.
But then again I'm not a businessman.

That is a very good deal for a complete earthshaker. I would love to get one at that price but i havent seen one go for that little in a while.
