There's a bunch of items on there for infantry right now- and if you check the history, Hobby401 has out-bid Essexgirl by a dollar or so on each item.
Oh, a link:
http://search.ebay.com/chaos-dwarf_W0QQ_...eNameZWLRS

And look, a Whirlwind for $10- DON'T LET ESSEXGIRL GET IT!

I think we might be making it to complex here .i propose if we just outbid SHSNBN,we can all do this for items we want(  or we just dont want her to get if were loaded)This is what i am doing and there are enough of us with an interest, also things come up so frequently  there is enough for everyone , i am choosing not to bid on any items that other players are bidding for (you can tell)and any excess i may get i will sell here .Respect to the Hat!
sorry about the dodgy post i am watching the daily show [/b]
Thats me bidding on the twenty plastic cd ,Its my gf's id am watching the others she is bidding on ready to get them if SWSNBN has the highest bid at the endRespect to the Hat! i wont bid on equilibriumexcess stuff and she would make a big mark up on those but none that i need(ID private bids) only 2 days left
Guys, I'm a little disturbed by the fact that many items on the following link:
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZequilibrium_excess

are being bid on by someone with their ID kept private. Any chance Essex has caught on to what we're doing?
Also, look here:

Was the Death Rocket made in plastic? Or is this a fake?
It seems that a lot of people simply don't know how ebay works.  You enter a _maximum_ bid amount and ebay will automatically increase your bid up to the maximum level.  You don't have to keep bidding low amounts like in a normal auction, the system does it all for you.  Last minute bids have no effect - if you weren't prepared to bid the extra 5 pounds five minutes ago, why are you so keen to do it now?

If you want to beat a particular ebay business then it helps to know how high you should bid.  Any business needs to get a certain amount of return in order to be worth while, usually around 10% return on investment. A business which is more unstable (like an ebay miniature one) will need a greater amount (more than 20%) because so much money is tied up in the products. This means that they aren't going to pay more than 50 for something they can only sell for 55 because the profit margin is too small.

The bottom line:  If you REALLY want something but don't want to buy it off a particular business, just stick in a max bid which is above their profit margin.  It is unlikely to even reach that price.  The only problem is if two people both use this idea.

If you just want it, work out the max you'd pay for it, regardless of other bids.  If you get outbid, then forget it, don't up your amount!

Remember to add postage onto the amount.

Finally, never pay more than retail prices.  You'd be surprised how many people get sucked into outbidding someone else and forget that they can get it cheaper direct from GW.
Hi got the 20 plastic cd .Just thought i would mention that its the seller that decides to make a items bids private ,anda person can also choose to have a private id(but in this case its there personal details which are private not there bidding id).Eg biklinictoo
iamahobgoblin go for those hobbos i will drop out its the axeman i need now anyway.
equilibrium excess always sells cd for reasonable prices but sometimes SWSNBN buys these as she can still make a large mark-up
The sellers choose to make the bidding private ,buyers can have a private id but you see who they are when there bidding it just means there personal details are privateTakes Hat off
There are alot of reasonable lots on ebay.com at the moment inc large CD army for £50
I always wonder if biklinictoo was the guy from warhammer crazy he snipe bids me a fair bit ,this weekend a ES for £12.50 and sorc lord and hero £10.5,as these are the price i am prepared to pay i dont mindhave plenty to paint and like to win at my prices.Respect to the Hat!
Unlucky with that lot Willmark looked tasty those US shipping only lots never go as high as worldwide and i have met sellers who wont send abroard cause of US postal probs.

its worth noting that you can block certain bidders bidding on your items , please everbody try to do this so they dont fall into the hands of an unscrupulous dealer who will strip your hours of hard painted work away in seconds and sell on your stuff at 100% profit !  i have already blocked the main two dealers on bidding on my stuff and its working pretty well so far

Ah ha thats why they are not snapping up the stuff at the bargain prices i see your lots going for ,a BT just went for £9.38 thats half  what swsnbn would pay £18 and then she would sell it for £30Respect to the Hat!
Good work on giving cd players a source of reinforcementsTakes Hat off

oh and lookie here, a tenderiser in package

http://cgi.ebay.com/Chaos-Dwarf-Tenderis...dZViewItem

I might even go for these myself....
This is such a good scheme, as a buyer of Big hats I have been screwed by Essex Girl and the other guys many times. I had purchased off them a few times before I realised what they were upto. I however had the last laugh for a while when I found out you could still get BC and Blunders from GW direct. I mailed as many watchers on their sites as possible to inform them...
I could not believe what shsnbn was trying to charge for 5 BC at one point, £78!!!!  and you could get them from GW direct for £7, the only problem was they had spelt Dwarf slightly wrong in the search function..
But keep up the stirling work gentlemen and I will contribute when I can.
The thing that annoys me so much is there efforts in raising the prices for Hobgoblins, the wolf riders are so ridiculous now, they try to charge £15-£17 for one wolf rider.  Luckily I have found a few bargains that these parasites haven't but I am a long way off getting all I need.

I am also selling off some of my excess new WFB minis to pay off some bills..

These can be found on my Ebay shop here (good prices I can assure you)

PS I will be putting up a few un-needed CD items next week, I will block the parasites and give you guys first dibs...

What a find sir! Cheers!

Key word to that statement is "used to", unfortunately hobgoblin prices (as noted above) have been increasing in price now as well.

Aint that the truth - just try to find hobgoblin wolf riders now - absolute fortune...

Is there any chance of making a new similar thread to this so that newusers (CDO and/or ebay) don't have to wade through 300 posts? Just the tips without all the discussion, monster threads of doom are no fun
For which I think our newer members would appreciate a full translation Wink
C'est possible. Have a look through and see if it was the same person pulling out each time
In which case report them and the seller and person with the ID will be banned
