...well a a death rocket crewman actually.

The picture is quite bad... Makes the mini look dull, it's not really the case in reality. It took me quite a while to get it painted entirely, especially the chainmail. I've made a "tutorial" (well a post where i explain my coulour scheme mainly), with a close up on the CD's face, but it's only in french for the moment :-p

All comments welcome...
Good effort! I really like the colour scheme. J'adore ca, tres bien! excuse my terrible french!! Takes Hat off

Looks outstanding man. Some nice highlight jobs done on the scale armor. Very nicely done indeed. Happy
This one is very cool! Show more soon. Never can have enough big hats around here *g* Respect to the Hat!
Very nice, what is it with the french and great painting? Wink
The blue and red work together surprisingly well.
The flesh is nice as well.
Tres bon!
Looks great, keep us posted on all your progress!
This guy looks great! I'm not too sure about the blue on the hat but that armour and beard is just right!
Can't wait to see more! Cheers!
the shading on the scale is seriously cool
Very nice indeed! And he deserves a brighter pic. Hope to see more from your hand

Very nice!
Rock on Dude!
The pic isn't great but it's a very good paint job by the looks of it. I really like the colour scheme.
Thats an awesome paint job. Some close ups would be good as it looks liek it has good deatil and the shading and highlighting is great
I love the paint job on that guy!

I love the old big hat figures and I liked the vivid colour schemes that GW presented them it. I am however aware that the big hats are now considered by many to be quite naft and that the paint jobs on them are too bright.

Your paint job manages to get the essence of the old way big hats were painted while still looking contemporary. It certainly makes the best of the figure (which is one of the better poses for these guys).

More of the wonderful French non-metallic metals I guess?

I would give you a slave if I had any Cheers!
Excellent! I'm not a fan of the Big Hats, but I like that!
