Nice, but can we see a picture of the orcs, no sense in leaving the greenskins out after all. Wink
I like the board as well, good job Cheers!
EDIT: btw, are you still selling seigeshaker kits?

I have been slow in getting things done this summer with my job and everything else.

Running a Community, 3 video guides, almost 1500 post here at CDO - and now thisTakes Hat off Yes! I can see what you mean - You have really been taking things slowBig Grin

They are awesome. I love your BfSP warriors. Your work has inspired us all - and now! let it be a productive autumn. I'm looking forward to see some painted Hobbos.

all hail xander the true chaos dwarf king, the lord, the hero and even hashuts champion.
You rock dude, why i cant be just like you.
I want your army.Shock
Looking really good mate, the Siegeshaker fits in really well and the Taurus looks amazing, my only problem is its rider cos you can do so much better. when i (skim) read the Deathstrike missile  thread for the first time and watched the video i thought you were making some huge Chaos dwarf death rocketShock, then i actually read it properly and was fairly disappointed. Good stuff tho man, keep it up
I always look forward to seeing your stuff man, it's a real inspiration.  I just know that lord is going to end up COOL!
Quick, everyone post and nag Xander to put the Hobgobs up!

Mmmmwahahaha I am evil! Not a full unit yet, but you'll get the idea!
please post some of you hobsgobs and others minis couse they are just WOW i cant desribe them they just are too cool.Takes Hat off
Yes, more pics I say!

The Hobgoblins must be revealed!

In case you guys can't tell, I have CD fever these days and am actively trying to keep moving on assembling and painting alongside the master himself!
Very good warriors, but I don`t really like the hero on taurus.
Settle down guys, believe me when I tell you that things are really in motion these days, lots of units are coming together, and the painting is just itching to be done!

Don't get me wrong, I more than anyone prods Xander along, but with us both on the task these days things are getting done... for evidense of this check out this completely unauthorized sneak peak!

Vex
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I really like this stuff. Keep up the good work and post stuff more often.
Wow, looks great en masse Xander. Damn IP law, i'm sure the sale of those hobbo casts would have earned a pretty penny.

Any chance of a close up of the crewman impaling the Nordlander? Will this be a little theme or is it just a one off?
whoops, guess that's what i get for missing that one. Anything special planned for the next shaker?

Yes, in case you missed it Wink Look HERE!

And for those asking about my crewman convert, you will find a lazy link to this Golden Hat V entry... HERE!

Very nice, I like the overal look of the army so far.

I'd like to see some smoother transitions of some highlights but that's just me!Wink

These guys are already a lot of work to paint for 2 pts each, so I doubt they will see much more detail, but such tips are always appreciated Happy

AGPO Wrote:
As for Xander and Vexus - thats some lovely work guys, but as HB said you need more core to get playing. Hows the kolossus going?

Thanks AGPO! I do believe the blunderbuss unit is next on the rank and file list!

Willmark Wrote:
I see the Force is strong with you... but you are not a Jedi yet.....

Huh? what? sorry something overcame me there for a second. Excellent work. I especially like the hobbos. Nice work all around.

One question just whose army is this? do you have joint custody?

Xander's love child, I got in on things late, but believe me, more will get done with me on board cracking the (steel?) whip.

Haha. Xander and I buy things together, share each others resources etc. But the bulk of the spending usually comes from him, I suppose to balance against me having the bulk of the talent Wink j/k

In summation:
Xander's Chaos Dwarfs, as converted and painted by both Xander and Vexxus!

Grish Wrote:
If he likes, I can leave him a good portion of my army to paint if he's into that, Xandor, conqueror of worlds.

Erm... maybe if good portion = wicked cool converted character models???

Otherwise, I have more than enough on my plate as it is Happy

If you are a very very very patient person, click here to see for yourself. Lots in the works, but nothing to present anytime soon Wink

Grish Wrote:
No, just regular stuff.  I don't even put all my own stuff together, maybe 1/4 - 1/3.  No, I'm not a patient person.  Haven't really painted a thing yet; I do trades with people.  I know what I'm good at, and painting isn't it.

Perhaps either a 'wash' or 'dipped' army would be an ideal possibility for you!? It is certainly faster, and you can get some great looks with less traditional skills Happy

I believe THIS is an example of a dipped army from this site.

Yeah, that's what dave was saying.  He'll show me when he gets here.  I have no skills for painting as yet, have not dedicated any time to it.

THanks for the links, will email them to myself.

*Cough Cough* ...Xander Wink

So, Mr. Xander, how are the painted ones doing? Vexxus, how be the unpainted ones coming along?

Things are slow, but the good kind of slow, where quality comes before quantity, haha.

The Fire Sorcerer for the Chaos Dwarf army (also mordheim sorcerer) is completed and photographed, and ready for Xander to take with him this weekend, to join his painted bretheren!

Currently I am painting a prototype blunderbusser that Xander converted long ago, and another master conversion of his... a bull centaur. Both are just in the base coat + metals stage, but I hope to have them completed by next tuesday (since I am away all weekend).

As always you can follow my snail-paced progress at the ever daunting Vexxus' Progress Report.
