I've just ordered both Grudgebearer and Palace of the plague lord from amazon for the reasons you can guess.
Perhaps I should have asked you before what do you think about both.

All oponions are most welcome

Grudgebearer is an okay read but it doesn't really get interesting until the final chapter when the Dawi Zharr show up. But boy - what a chapter.

What is it about Palace of the Plagueord? I'd never even heard of it 'til now, I take it it has CD references?
