Greetings all! I have almost finished my Brets (500 pts to go!) and I wanted to start planning my next army. I originally wanted to do Tomb Kings until I realized that CD were still a playable army. I love their list and the conversion work I'll have to do.
So, what do you think about my list? Does it suck or does it hold the gleam of genius?

I think I'll stick to a pair of level 2s. The BSB looks good but I'd like a cheap BC hero with a Gw and gauntlets more. My lord is fine as he will be in the main block of CD warriors. If my enemy has to take on my center, then they will find him ready and waiting.

I had thought of a death rocket, but many have told me that it is not worthwhile, your thoughts?
I like the idea of expendable Hobs but, what should I drop in my current list?
Are the more balanced lists going to have more CDs in them over Hobs?
Point taken about converting.
Is an all CD better than one with mixed Greenskins in it?
Also, Bull Centaur lords seem nasty if eqipped right IMO. True?

I personally always found the DR quite useful.
I really think you need some hobgoblins in this army to act as meat shield.
You will most likely be shot to pieces before you get halfway across the table if your opponent knows what he is doing.
Hobbos tend to minimize the hits your actual fighting units take if used properly.

Ok, are the hero choices good?
My hero hides in a unit and lends Ld. 10. The Bull Centaur goes around amd smashes things.
For a good core of troops, I want to have at least 2 units of warriors. Are 2 units of Blunderbusses too much? Also, Death Rocket or 3x BT? Its a hard choice.
Any tips for a CD beginner like myself?
2 units of BB are great. I use that myself though I use smaller units. The hero choices are okay but what is your plan with the BC Lord? Is he to join the BC? Personally I never found the BC lord to be that useful but I know quite a few people in here are fond of them. I usually use a Lord, a thing whcich most people in here dont like. Funny that

Why is that? Most Battle Reports I've read have a CD list led by a Sorceror Lord. Do people use Lords, if not... why?
BC Lords are deadly, why are they not used?

Though, out of all them the plain CD lord sounds the most fun to convert.
A CD lord would be my pic. Slam him on a Taurus if you must but Ive never found that to be necesarry.

Point taken. I guess that its because the Sorceror Lord has Ld.10 and level 4 magic that makes him so popular.
I think IK'll convert all three and test them out.

Cool, but since I don't intend to field an unit of Bc just yet, I'll keep th egauntlets so he can be str. 7!

I had to skip this year's one, but i was there for 2006. I took my Daemon Hunters for the tourney and got destroyed in battle points. Got perfect sports and solid painting scores though.
This time, I'm bringing the Dawi Zharr and they're packing heat!
