Couldn't agree more I'm a refugee from asur.org.uk still post there ocassionaly but not all that often. This site wins hands down over any other site I've been on. Great people, great site, can't say enough about it.

Thanks for the comments on the blog. I'm aiming to have one if the best blogs and armies on this site. And with the quality of the armies here thats a big challenge.

I really can't comment on druchi.net but asur... lets just say your nor far from my experience there.

Asur has some great people there and the mods are generally fair. I say generally because if you are one of the "in" posters on the site your are given WAYYYYY more latitude then "normal" members. The off topic section is the single greatest source of drama. So many people posting and reposting utter crap and never really listening. The thinly veiled lack of realworld experience got old too. To many self righteous pontficating about sometimes horrendous and heinous acts brushed away with a explantion of why X is ok, whatever X was was astounding.

Through it all though a great bunch of people inhabited the painting sections and warhammer sections. Some I liked others not so much. I began to realize what a colossal waste of my time posting there (particularly in OT) was.

Lot more to it then that as I simply can't begin to relate all of it. Suffice of to say I made 300 posts in 3 years... Need I say more.

Dark Haven is right though this a great community here let's keep it that way.

I have to say while I occasionally browse other forums to check out the conversions/rumours, not only is this site more fun and full of nicer people, its easier to use as well - everything is easy to find, the threads don't go on to long and there are no "uber threads of doom" like the Asur rumours section. Asrai.org is quite a good site but I've never joined

I particularly love the centaur models he made. I'm tempted to do an army just of those!

Cheers Ishkur i went looking and couldnt find it ,did find other well painted WE .That Narnia armys very dynamic ,great posing the Fawns and Beaver are my faves

The standards on Asrai.org are very high, I just wish I could find more sites like these two, then again I'd probablly never leave the house...

i will hand it to you that the Danes do beer VERY well (unlike the Sweedes) but when in England Real Ale is the ONLY beverage. So Sayeth CAMRA

Yeah, my dad used to run an exchange with a school in Aarhus and brought back Danish Beer with him each year. I've only been to Denmark a couple of times but its a lovely country

I've been to Aarhus once and visited Copenhagen for a couple of days. I also came over for a family holiday when I was two, but not sure I remember any of that except going to Legoland!

A mate and I actually built a whole load of WFB seige equipment and a castle out of his son's Lego for a one off game as we couldn't afford the GW stuff. It was clearly a castle of Tzeentch or something out of Michael Moorcock

ah lego, the 1st requirment for mad geniuses, and was darn fun too, especialy that battering ram...............
