How big was this army?
Obviously it wasnt for sale. if all the cabinet armies were for sale then there wouldnt be any armies to display! They would get sold so fast!
If you are lucky (and know the management well enough to find out) they will sell the store armies to you when they are no longer required. One of my mates got half a dwarf army when the newer models came out, although most of it ended up in his bits box.
I bought a nice painted Empire army from my store. Its not a GW store but ratehr one of the elite stores that work closely with GW. Ive done a lot of free work for them so I got it with a big discount.

Trouble is since GW has become more corperate thereis less and lessof this type of thing...
Not to mention that the number of actual stores is diminishing as well (in some parts of the world disappearing all together).
Yeah, how dare they run a business and make profit!
There is only one GW in all Denmark and it isnt doing to well as far as I know. The Elite stockists have taken over the market really.

Yep, Bugmans. And they do pub(ish) grub too! Never really spent much time there though, It was just a pop in, buy my stuff & leave sort of thing. Cool that you could order anything from the back catalogue, and if they had none ready, they would just run off another cast (although you had to wait for ages). Games tables are quite simply awesome too.
It also sells the limited edition bugman. The one thats standing on the barrels.

Their Big Hat army is tiny. We have 5th Edition to thank for that.
I haven't been there for years now but from what I've been told, Bugman's Beer is awful.
