A while back somebody posted asking what kind of scenery they should have for CD.
This is the stuff I am working on.  It is not finished, and is designed to be functional rather than pretty, but hopefully it might be of some help:

Very, very cool!
this stuff is excellent, Takes Hat off wallacer
how about including a mini for some scale pics?

Bill-117

Yeah... add a little gobbo drowning in the tar pit! Takes Hat off
Including miniatures for scale is a good idea (or at least it would have been a good idea before I took the pictures).

The ziggurat can hold a line of stunties on each step.
The toxic waste pool is about the size of a saucer.
The secone picture (the larger chemical plant) is about 2' square.
The smaller chemical plant (the last picture) is about 1' x 2'.
Very good scenary. the tar pit was awsome.
Good wip, great scenery for 40k too.I think its a must to make scenery for me at some pointRespect to the Hat!

D'dos Croizii

Top Notch and awe inspiring the pit looks awesome, and the bull on top of the Ziggurat is a really Chaos Dwarf defining.
Magnificent!
I love this. My favourite bit must be the terrain with all the piping.
Me likely this kicks butt! I really like the oil slick pool.
Wow, awesome stuff so far!  Keep it up.
Wow, that's really cool. Some of the stuff is too 'techy' for my taste, but it fits the CD theme nicely.

hey wallacer could you give a list of what you use on the scenery
thanks  Kera

Plastic electrical wiring ducting.
Conflix chemical plant terrain.
3mm MDF.
Flock.
Das modelling putty.
Woodland Scenics artificial water.
Blue insulation foam.
Dowelling for the mine entrance.
A toy cow for the "hashut Bull" on top of the Ziggurat Big Grin

Yeah, I wanted to get the CD steampunk feel without making it look like 40k terrain (which is actually surprisingly hard to do).

Bill-117

Truthness. It's awesome.
Yes Wallacer that is truely awesome! - I like the Steampunk look a lot. Very CDish IMO!
id love to do CD scenery, but it would mean changing my battlefield to an ash waste rather than green, which is a shame because although thats fine for fantasy and 40k etc, its not much use for fighting out a 1/72 scale ardennes offensive.

just as a suggestion i think it woud look better if on the ziggurat the steps had shading on them, rather than a solid flat colour. i know its not finished so my comment may be premature so i apolagise if this is so.
Really cool, our Gaming group has some steam punk Inquisitor scenry and cities of death stuff we use for CD games at the moment. 40k terreign works really well for Dawi'zhar and vice versa
Yes, CD scenery for CD could just as easily be used for 40k and Necromunda so in that sense you do get bang for your buck, I guess.

If I have time I will put more shading on the Ziggurat (and paint the bullon top of it) but other projects loom ominously closer...
And of course if I ever get round to that Ancient Persia collection it'll be great too!
Ohhhh, i am liking muchly!

Where did you get that bull on the top of the ziggurat from? Methinks it could be a body for quite a cool Bull Centaur!
Or a Taurus
