One time playing agains a buddy of mine in 4th edition (he was playing Skaven) and I mopped the floor with him using my chaos army. Magic was pretty much non-decisive that game for some reason. Basically I was able to get my Khorne Chaos Lord into combat and proceeded to hack through unit after unit of his. My giant got shot to pieces (damn jezzails!) as did my infantry units, beastmen made it into combat. My Chaos knight rounded the other flank and meet my general in the middle. Total ratty carnage!
Another that sticks out in my mind was one of the first times I played in 3rd. I was using my Empire Army against my buddies Orcs and goblins. Two rounds in it was over. cannon shots had ripped through his army. Massive failed animosity tests as well as hefty does of magic ruined his night! In in all it was fun for me, as up to that point he had never lost in warhammer. Now I've never lost to him in 15 years!

Oh my. I have a really bad memory for this type of thing. Shame the major beatings stick out more yes?
I'll tell you the tale of a game I had today against the new High Elves. I knew ASF wouldn't be too bad. But then out came the Dragon riding Mage Lord with the Book of Hoeth. Ah. Bugger. Naturally the guy miscast, allowing me to whip a quick Fireball out on some White Loins and taking them out of the game.

Lizardmen vs Dwarves.
In a couple of turns i was on him with:
-terradons on war machines
-skink fliyng chief on war machines
-kroxigors, saurus with hero on warriors and longbeards
salamanders on thunderers
skinks shooting to death the other thunderers unit
I was however deeply sorry for it was a game he wanted to have to regain confidence in his army...

this is easy, Empire vrs Empire!!! (i put $10 on empire, hehe)
i tried a new strategy where on 1 flank i had an anchor of thick 20 man infantry units(with a warrior priest or two) and on the other flank, 2 groups of knights and some pistoleers. thats it. no middle. it was an intresting game, because for some reason he put his strong units in the middle. my knights TORE through his war machines and his opposing general and proceeded to meet my "anchor" which became more of an extremely heavy battle axe. and for some reason a lone wizard was able to beat my mounted general in a duel without the speculum and he promptly wiped out that unit . . . otherwise it was a total slaughter and it lasted 4 turns!!!! great sucsess!
