well few weeks back i was going through my girlfriends albums, shes got some terrible cd's like james blunt! but then i saw a band called rhapsody.
it had some awesome art work, like an elf fighting a dragon, so i thought why not. i cant believe i missed these, you can tell these guys watch conan every day and read tolkien. one album has the actor who plays saruman talking in intros lol.

give it a chance, i did
Good Find. Ill have to look into this band a bit more.
Im more into death metal myself. I guess dragonforce, eventhough it is quite lame, could be good for warhammer since they go on about dragons and fantasy stuff
Yeah epic movie soundtracks are immense. I love LOTR soundtrack. I guess i should look into those others as well.
i would think these guys have epic music like conan and lotr intros, there basically the predecessors of dragonforce, with solos like steve vai and the voice can keep up with our own freddy mercury.
so if your not like me and you dont like lotr kind of music you might like it anyway, download it
pyro : dont listen to it for 5 mins, listen to every tune, only take you a day or so, cos it really grows on you
Il stay with folkloric music, as close to the army as posible (eastern europe for kislev... and so forth).
Ones I used armenian music with my CD. I'm definitly not in the kind of music you discuss here so Il let you talk in peace.
Not sure about Warhammer in general, but for CD specifically you can't go wrong with Die Krupps (particularly "Metal Machine Music").
Armenian? You might like System of a Down then, they use loads of Armenian stuff in their songs.
I think using fantasy movie soundtracks is a bit of a copout, far too obvious. I listen to whatever is on hand at the time, so usually metal or rock.
actually, in all seriousness i simply like epic movie soundtracks. gladiator, LOTR, master and commander, pirates of the carribean, kingdom of heaven, king arthur, etc.
X2
Man o War are not that good. And i dont see how Goth metal goes with warhammer?
if anything amon amarth is a good metal band for warhammer. failing that, iron maiden goes with anything given the right song.
Amon Amarth are the best!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
For Chaos Dwarfs, the piece that "fits" them the most would be Christopher Rouse's work, The Infernal Machine, IMHO.
Read "Christian Rap" and closed the page before it corrupted my mind.
Provided you like Metal, Bolt Thrower. No better.
Ive heard of Bolt Thrower. Through looking for Bolt Throwers on ebay. Ill check them out as well and provide a professional opinion
does anyone listen to Power Metal? i have a feeling next to noone do

After looking at gil^'s radio fingy-ma-gig, i agree, rhapsody is a really cool choice for warhammer music
It would be so cool played in the background at a large tourie or games day or summut
But personally i like stuff like nickleback, and i like some of saliva's stuff as well
does anyone listen to Power Metal? i have a feeling next to noone do

I listen to most types of metal. Power, Speed, Death, Melodic Death, Opreratic Metal, Symphonic Death Metal, Viking etc etc.
Bolt Thrower gets the Pyro Seal of Approval. They are quite good.
Pyro why do you aways take my c.d. And leve me with your crapy music at my place.
.........................................Yeah..............................................
My music is not crap. How dare you blaspheme against my superior music.
