hi i'm arzack, very much inspired by the moebius-comix

i feel more like a guest on your site, because i'm only a blood-bowl player. i work as a designer and 3d-artist. actualy i'm working on some new designs for my cd-blood-bowl team "red star linsfate" and so i came to your site via google when i was looking for some inspiration.

thanks for your hospitality, and in return i will post some of my cd-drawings, once they are finished

a.
thanx for your warm welcome and momentanly it's only  line-art drawings (the bull-centaur was finished this afternoon and there are some cds waiting at the los on my desktop) but with blood-bowl being released on pc at the end of the year and the cd's not included there is a fair chance, that some 3d work will follow, when i could spare the time...

thanx again
hey, long time hat player, bit backward when it comes to interweb thingy tho, ended up here when searching for CD army pdf because i'm bored on night shift and fancied redoing my army lists after a discussion on warseer, who recently gained a CD tactica btw thanks to catbarf

didnt know the hats of doom had so much support, unfortunately the work server aint letting me see a lot of the pics, but hey
btw what in the name of hashuts nose ring are slaves all about??

how do i begin to accrue them? are there physical representations of them i can beat with sticks for no reason??

and hoe do you get the swirly vortex background+photo showing evil dwarfs for avatars?
cheers man
Hi all,
I tend to role double 1s except for leadership, I seem to prefer games or races which lose continued and vigorously updated support from their proprietor companies, need I say more?
Other than that I'm Maltese, have an old CD army, and have a predilection for Epic and Man O' War and Warmaster, which I have not played for years. I work in the local Univ, and (be warned) own cats.
My Chaos Dwarfs have (barring 2 test pieces) never been painted, which is good as I'm better at it than 14 years ago. Not VERY good, though, and I tend to lean towards fast painting schemes - WIP is a Khemri army which I have to complete in 5 weeks for a tourney (and it includes around 80 models or more). I'd always been reluctant to start the CDs, partly because the older they get the more afraid I am of doing a bad job of it (which is of course contrary to what I said a few words ago). But having landed here I think I should try to make a point of getting them done next after the Khemrians.
Sadly, there are not that many of them - a handful of the old, old, CDs, a couple of Big Hat units, and a couple of hobgob units; a Lammasu pilot and his wings, and a Blood Bowl team; and a very WIP cannon.
There, waffle over.
Chaos Dwarves were my first Warhammer army, clear back in 1994.  I have bounced around with different armies and have finally returned to my first and most fun army.  In real life I am 36 and have a wife and 2 kids, all of which play Warhammer.

Sounds like enough to start an army blog Takes Hat off Wink

Thank you Ghrask Dragh. I'll start one once I get the Khemrians done  or once I've given up trying to do so. Hobgoblin

Hi everybody, my name is Johan, I´m a 24 year old swede.

I don´t play warhammer, just recently bought the Battle for Skullpass set together with a friend & hope to have my first game soon, some guys from warseer (snuggejyrgen or something)recommended me to join this site as I was hoping to make an evil Dwarf army inspired by Duergar in the forgotten realms world, he told me that the Chaos Dwarfs might be a good inspiration source for conversions.

So anyways, hope to get some inspiration & who knows in the future I might inspire someone as well.
My name is Morgan. I have been playing GW games now for about 20 years. I worked for GW for about 7 years(that ended when they got rid of all part time employees). Either that or they didn't like the fact that a 40 year old staffer was working for 20something managers.. lol.  I currently reside in the Northern Virginia area.

I got hooked on pointy hats when I won a staff painting competition and my reward was 5 kilos of metal. I picked up CD and necromunda stuff that day. I have waxed and waned on the pointy hats now for about 10 years (it's been 3 years since I worked for good ol' GW) and while working for GW I was always pushing for the pointy hats to get a ressurgence. As you can see, my voice was obviously just a whisper in the maelstrom known as GW.

Anyways, it's nice to find a community that likes Cd's as much as I do..

Hey Morgan - I live down in Richmond and i used to work at the GW in Stony Point.  How goes it?  Where in NoVa are you?

I live in Woodbridge. 5 mins from Potomac mills.  I worked at both the Springfield and Potomac mills stores.

as for some pics, these aren't chaos dwarves and are a few  years old, but this is some stuff that I have painted over the years.

Hi everybody,
I too was once a shameful lurker....but thats in the past now...
I have a few old big hat Dwarfs and few old Bull Centuars and Sneaky gits...but after seeing the youtube tutorial I think this is the best option for me...
I also heard from a buddy of mine who talked to a GW higher up at Games Day that when Chaos Dwarfs come back they will not be with big hats....so, I too will build the Skull Pass Chaos Dwarf army...
I am a gamer in central Iowa who does direct market poultry farming, and some consulting work. I started playing warhammer in 1995 with Chaos added a lizardmen army after that. I no longer have any of those. I have played Empire, but I moved away from it as steam tanks and crazy weapons came into fashion. I now play Dogs of War (lets here it for crossbows), High Elves, and have picked up my first few pieces to model some chaos dwarves.

I have played gothic, necromunda, but I have parted with those items. I still have two huge 40k armies Chaos Space Marines and Necrons but have not played them for a while.

Do we even count as a mere corner? I mean we are from all over the world here, a small highly specialised and awesome chunk of the global population! Anyways dunno how you'd geometrise Our community lol. Wink

While I agree, we cover most continents of the world, we are still a niche group and thus in our own niche of the world, what I call a corner.. Don't be too literal when you try to figure that out, otherwise, you will just confuse yourself..
