Now that's better, proper CD women!
Great stuff Kera, they look really good.
I think a bit of hair from under the helmets out the back would look good. You could even do a few bits of hair coming over the shoulders.

They look excellent! I've been waiting for those to be painted for a long time. I like the fact that you've painted skin on as before, I thought it was part of the breastpalte. Their boobs are almost spilling out to the nipple line! As others have said, a little hair from under the helmets might add more femlaeness and I think it would also blend the helmets into the models a little better.

I like the colour of the armour - hawk turquoise?
They would make fantastic Immortals - elite female chaos dwarf warriors
Wood Elf: “First we will slay you vile dwarf and then your women as well"
Chaos Dwarf: “Well, you're welcome to try but that is them over there setting fire to your treeman"
Wood Elf “By the gods . . .”
Chaos Dwarf: “Yes, that is Dryads they're using as kindling"

Kera: I do, but I'm wise enough to avoid doing so. I have my dark elven/raven-haired human consort instead
I'd say you could possibly use the marauder heads themselves (not the bearded ones, IMO) and add long hair. As for the topknotted marauder, make it a ponytail

I think parrots are only for characters. Seagulls for unit champions/command models?
I concur with everybody else. One suggestion though, (*ducks boos and hisses* Someone has to constructively criticise) I would say make the bodies and legs a lot thicker, to keep in proportion of the heads or at least eb a little closer to the scale. The painting is excellent as is the sculpting.

You could always use one of the Lego parrots, heat it up and bend it about, mayb clip the wings and spread them
Or, fully sculpt a parrot. A thick sausage for the body, straight triangular wings out to either side, a ball for its head, a couple of small open triangles/pryamids as the beak and a liong strip down as the tail. Might try that, just to see if I can do it

Well, if it's so good, throw it in
I've yet to attempt the parrot, but I've got to find a model to put it on as well
I like the banner a lot. The actual painting on it came out well as well!

I can see the green. Can you do a close-up of his boots so we can see greenskin shoes, please? Sounds cool.

Then pictures you have not taken, why? *scolds Queen Padme Keradala*

Attend to your senatorial duties, you must not. Lead to the dark side, that path will. Pictures must be taken, or doomed are we all.

Mention the dark side, I always do. Repeat lines, the films do. Parrot sculpt, on it's way will be soon. Convert one into duck for friend I shall. Essays and rehearsals, in my way, stand. When 900 years odl you reach, study hard you must.

Love the beer barrel.
Nice to see Bull Centaurs are still Dwarfs at heart.

Looking damned brilliant. One thing for the top one, the legs seem to blend in a little too much with the rock, so maybe paint the fur around the hooves in a slightly different colour or paint the hooves black. Not to undermine how awesome these are (as I'm still meaning to steal the idea of making them and the paint scheme is brilliant!). Good job and I can;t wait to see the rest, I really can't.

I'd never have guessed it was bark. Good use of natural resources and the best bit is the crying elves (though, if they cry, they die, which is ANOTHER bonus!). it looks more effective than cork and fits well with the solidified lava look. Well done

Looks good to me. I like the shield (but this angle doesn't quite let me see it). I'd like a nice shot of the shield, if possible, please!
08-03-2008, 12:40 PM
The shield and don't look glowing in pictures, but they are taken well. I could only suggest using natural light to take photos with, see if that helps. I like the sort of sea-cadaver look of the shield (even though it looks glowing in person
) and it looks a little like verdigree on the helmet which also looks sweet. Shame they don't show the model's true look.

I've just won a bid on 10 Gor bodies, specifically to copy these bull body conversions, Kera. Feel proud for the Idea-man has thieved your idea
08-07-2008, 07:09 PM
If you want an original bull centaur body, fork out the £8/$16ish for H'thark the Unstoppable. Then, use the body/hat elsewhere (or convert him to hold a weapon
) and you got it... Otherwise, eBay it is...

Not a problem. Hope it helps. Otherwise, you could spend £1.50/$3.00ish for the Ox at the bootm of this page. Migth also help
Not sure of the scale though...
