Xander has said that it may be time to replace the smilies by a batch upgrade.
So what we would like is for people to reply here with smilies they think we should include.
Either reply with a list:
Happy
Sad
Angry etc
Or by including a smilie from another forum.
You do this by right clicking on the smilie image, copying the url listed there. You then come here and paste with a [img*] [/img*] either side (removing the *).
E.g.

Xander may not upload them exactly as they are shown, but he may be able to create something similar.
I want to keep the curly bearded idea, and I will probably make something similar to what Grim initially designed. What we need are smilies that we lack, like :/
and others. I will try to make a themed set using ideas put forward here.

I find that we desperately need CD equivalents to:
"rofl"
"rolleyes"
"thumbs up"
"thumbs down"
and finally - "the whipcrack"!
...all with curly beards, of course. ^^

i only use the ones from msn messenger, and it took me years how to fit them into normal internet conversation! too many more and ill be stumped. the heart might come in handy
This guy has always struck me as funny. Very appropriate for a forum dedicated to Hashut as well.
Of course it could be used anytime I grace a thread with my presence too...

I realize this thread is quite old
but I'd like to contribute and I couldn't see a time limit for the project or any post saying that it was finnished.
I like the design this one (although it's a bit to big) that was in the army blogg French Chaos Dwarfs
(I think he did it himself)
It does look quite good, but I get the feeling we'd have to ask his permission before using it website-wide.
