This is a good sign that something possitive is going to happen for the Chaos Dwarfs. Maybe included in the HoC army book or a new PDF.

Do you recall the two cd refrences by any chance?

had a chance to hear about the philosophy of the new daemon book with the big wigs of GW giving an open Q&A.  they are trying to go back to, and expand upon, the "classic" imagry of the daemons.  blood letters going back to eldritch looking beings, nurgle being a jolly old coot, slaanesh being a mix of horrible and irresitable, etc.  same with the hordes of chaos nudge nudge wink wink.  the herald of nurgle has the most bad ass fluff along with the fleshhound character imho.

Haha, I just get an image of the Bloodthirster/Ogre battle - Just like Gandalf and the Balrog when they were freefalling down into the sump.. THAT would be an interesting diorama!

Vampire lead tzeentch demons!! Awesome.

the ound of khorne is pretty cool.  he tracks his prey through space and time, across dimentions, etc.  he gives bonuses to all flesh hounds on the board against one specific enemy unit or character.

epidemius gets more powerful(as does the entire army) as the death toll (from poisoned attacks***) rises.  poison can begin wounding on 5's and 4's, ward saves get better, etc.

I am also interested to know what this rock loocked like, atleast now I know its some kind of magical rock ( well I assume magical) has anyone else found out any more on this??

Also I wonder what were Vampires doing, using this crown to control chaos to fight Ogres and Chaos Dwarfs, I can only imagine that they wanted to free the Bloodthirster to use as a weapon, but it seems that the Ogres and  the Chaos Dwarfs do not want that to happen for some reason,... hmmm the plot thickens!
