Well torn a turtle can get up to 50 pounds.So the first thing you do is put in fresh water for a day( they are bottom feeder) fresh water will help get the meat cleaner.You can get as much meat out of a turtle as a goose. the meat can be tought so if you put it in a stew or a crock pot for a few hours. this is an size of a snapper
we have cotton tail rabbits you get as much meat as cornish hen.So this would be also stewed add potatoes carrots or raw sweet potatoes ginger and crushed black pepper. mmmmmmmmm

"dumb humans" kill pretty much anything and everything (even other human's!), wether they mean to or not.
My friend once had a pig as a pet. He said they were far more intelligent than dogs and a lot more loveable/cuddly. He couldn't bring himself to eat it when it died.
As for toxins/fat etc: I pretty much don't care what's in my food, as long as it tastes good. And pork does, especially fresh Lincolnshire/Cumberland sausage, with two fried free range eggs and oven baked 'red rooster' chips, and a big blob of 'Daddies' brown sauce, acompanied by a mug of tea!! A quintesentially English dinner!!

They do use sun block - Mud. This proves they are smart as they don't pay for their sun block like we do.
A dog would bring you the sun block for you to throw it so he could play 'go fetch'. And if the sun block broke open, he would probably eat it. Not smart.
Pigs can 'live it up' in the sun shine all day long, unlike the dumb cows or horses huddled in the shade, or hiding in their sheds/stables!!
If there no mud. like the sun drys up the mud the pig get sun burn still .
