Those bolt throwers look great!  That's a really good idea.  I am looking forward to seeing the finished product on the BCs too.
awsome BT nice to see another bolt thrower made from the miner drills, i realy should make mine as soon as possable.

the sheild is a nice addition
wow loving those bolt throwers. pure awsomeness
wow that cloak and fire sorc are amazing.
The lore of metal sorcerer turned out really well and has a lot of character, the dark colours suit him as well.
don't listen to them keep the horns black!!!!
Great work, love your wizards!
your warriors and your metal wizard are ACE!!!!

i love the flames you have sculpted too. you got any tips for how to get that effect?

im still on my baby steps when it comes to green stuff really!
they are pretty much centorgs but i like the idea and will be interesting how they turn out
duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude...

I love the miner conversions. they're awesome Happy

nice work!

And i dig the lava bases even though i am more of a goblin green and flock man myself Tongue
That's looking great.
BUT.
You should paint flames the other way. The tail should be the darkest part while it's lightest in the beginning; tail (dark)red and the beginning yellow, with mixes of these (orange) inbetween.

This shows it pretty well:
I see I put you in some trouble ...

Mind that I usually only paint small flames (and have no idea how this looks on bigger ones).  I'm usually doing mine this way:
- The very base of the flame sunburst yellow (or sunburst yellow mixed with a little orange; or the very very very tips of the flame, so really just dots, sunburst yellow with a wee bit of skull white)
- I add more orange to the paint used before and use this mix for about 20% to ... 35% or so
- Orange/red around the middle
- Red around 60 - 75/80%
- A mix of red with either chaos black (very little) or scroched brown at the tip.

With the %s and all, imagine a flame to be a vertical stick. The bottom of it is 0%, the end 100% and halfway 50%.

As you see, I haven't given any precise directions where to put the flames, just which I use. You shouldn't make really borders (sorry I'm having difficulty with the language here and there Happy ) between the paints, just slightly let them overlap eachother.

As HB says though, your flames didn't look bad and I think you've made an excellent and unique conversion. If you want your flames to be realistic though, you'd have to paint them the other way.

I'm looking forward to your next update Takes Hat off
Looking good Wink

Relax Hrothgar. All is well now.

Finally redid the flames and here's the result.

I only have one nitpick.. you need to do something to seperate those two flames.. it's hard to tell if that's his face or if he's holding something or both or neither..

it looks awesome and your skills R 1337.. well done.. perhaps a bit of ink might help transition the colors better.

Now for something big. Over the next few weeks I'll working on giving my great taurus wings based on this design someone showed me.

I'm not to sure were to begin but i'll figure something out.

last pic, far right = JASON!!!!!

I love the banner with the vulcano!
That's exactly what I mean when I say that sometimes simple is better than over complicated design! I love how the lava flows so nataurally and crackle in the sky. How you get that idea? Takes Hat off
I should steal it Unsure
