The bolt through the shield works very well. I'd suggest perhaps having some form of sighting mechanism or a slot to aim by (in front of the eye glass may be best) and also to space the wheels further apart if possible. Otherwise, good work! As for the BCs, I'd say that with the moustaches, they will look much better! (I'd like to see a less damaged instrument for the BCs. They are the temple guard after all...)
It's all looking marvelous. A couple of ideas for the BCs. Why not have the moustaches be in the same style, but droopy, like the Mongol's of Genghis Khan? Might work a little better. As to the rear armour, perhaps flatten the shoulder pad out a little and possibly even trim off some of the edging. It'll fit the curve of it's butt a little better then. Also, don't forget to GS straps for the armour Wink Do you still need some left arms? I have some beastmen ones spare, I believe. Let me know how many of which kind you'd like and I'll see what I can do. What are you doing with the legs of the beastmen, might I ask? (If you do not need them, I am considering asking to buy/trade for them) Are you thinking of a chain around the Great Taurus' neck/trhough its mouth and into the hand of its rider? Again, it'll look best to make the saddle look attached, either with rivets or straps. A cool idea might be to add some cogs, gears and metal structring to whichever wings you use to make them fit into the model's theme a little better. Dwarf crossbow parts can be good for this as can pieces of sprue...
Cool and they are only ideas. Never take my advice unless you wish to. it's just to spark inspiration and what I personally would do. If you need more beastmen heads, I may have some more of those lying around as well...
PM replied to. (For those wondering, trying to straighten out quantities and items to be given Wink)
Well, I'll be sending them within the week I hope. I've got a feeling I may have given more arms than I could afford to. Oh well, more conversions for my beastmen, W00t!
Craziest on-topic and legitimate post ever, methinks. Still, I should be able to send the stuff tomorrow on the way to my girlfriend's. (Still think I needed those arms Tongue )
Looking good. Also, I like the helmet idea. All I'd say is if you could get the shape to be a be more straight-edged and the ventilation holes a little better defined, it'd be that little bit better. Also, how're the wings doing for the Great Taurus?
It's all looking very good. I like the use of parts for the metal sorcerer, though it seemed as though he had a camera on a staff before you painted it Tongue As for the fire sorcerer, are you going to sculpt flames onto the back of the head as well, to cover that ball of GS? What about a beard or, if you can, a beard of flame? I like the use of the tanks upon his back. One thing, maybe you should connect it with some small wire to the staff. Looks excellent painted up. Keep the pictures coming!
From the front it looked vaguely like one at first glance. You seem to forget, I'm crazy Wink Also, glad to hear that's what you're planning!
It's looking good. the flames have come out very well. Particularly since it is but your second attempt. Kudos, chappy, kudos. Also, I like the change of medal-thing to gem. Good choice.

The standard bearer seems to be coming on well, though it looks like the beard may not fit a face shape, you may wish to hold back on adding to the beard until you have the head ready.

As for the V2 rocket style death Rocket, very good and well-inspired. I love the extension of the cannon base, good choice. As for customisation, a few ideas: Add some support strats and struts (just poles/girders supporting the sides of the white bit, connected to the base) and some stationary platforms (like fire engines and crabnes have. Stick out the sides and lift the vehicle slightly so recoil/movement doesn't change its position). Perhaps a bull's head, with either the horns supporting the front of the ramp or the rockets flaming through its mouth. Then, add some pattern to the outside of the ramp, whether it be with a similar style to the base sections or a Celtic design or something...
Looking good so far. Your flames do seem to be coming along very nicely. Can't wait to see the fiery beard as well. I'm glad you've decided to continue the beard on the crewman, as a mixed beard really seems to not work, he he he. Most welcome for the advice. Got any ideas what you'll do to it from now then?
Obviously and glad ya got so much in the pipelines. Sorry i wasn't clear, but I meant have you got any additions planned for the death rocket?
The warrior unit is looking good. The DR is looking great! Good choice with the supports. Are you going to paint the ex-Celtic symbols fleshy or as though it is morphing or maybe changing shape with daemonic energy? As for what else to add, the outside of the "barrel" looks a little bland still, so either paint some designs on and/or glue on some symbols (maybe some spare marauder shields &/or shoulder pads thinned down) to the sides...

As for the hobgoblin, it seems to be coming on well, but I'd say either thin the top of the GS robe and have it look like a robe with a half-overcloak on top OR meld the plastic into the GS. Interested as to your plans for the hat. With the armour you wish to add, is it simply more of those squares around the GS chest piece? If so, have them in pairs as is, but have a thin space between each pair to make it look more like lighter armour..
I'm thinking it all looks really great! Pounded bronze could look really good and seems to fit the colour scheme better. The daemonhead sounds like awesome to me and glad to hear that you shall add some more robing to the hobgoblin.

The CDBSB looks good, I especially like the standard itself. One suggestion would be to switch his helmet with the first (on the left hand side) painted model in the pictures after it. I think that helmet would look best. It's a job well done on the sculpting part, nonetheless, I just have my own preferences which can be ignored, he he he.

I really love the painting and the scheme. Especially the skin colour. very nice looking tones. One slight thing, when looking at the back, they seem ever so slightly too shiny... I'm wondering if it may look a little better if you add a little brown/black ink to remove some of the shine (only on the scale mail part) and/or to possibly change the scale mail (not the helmet/shield) to silver of some kind...
Unfortunately, it seems that the gold of the shield has bled into his beard a little so, I'd suggest tidying that up. otherwise, good job and keep it up. I really like the greenish colour of the wristband, by the way. is it Kommando khaki with a green ink over it?
My apologies. The bandages really do look greenish in that picture. How strange. Also, I did think it looked a little under par with the way his beard was, he he he. Again, my apologies.
Looking sweet Big Grin I like the shininess of the rear-right-hand-side model's horns. Also, I love the grey highlighting on the front-middle's beard and horns. For 7 models, they stand out and look menacing to me. Kudos!
Amazing work Dino!  Loving the sculpts and everything! You'll have a decent Warband in no time!

Well done!
I somehow missed the beginning of this thread so I will comment on it now.

Really cool Bull Centaurs, remind me of an old piece of art I saw on HoH.

And your Bolt Throwers are an excellent evolution of Snotling's concept!

Well done!
I am liking those Blunderbussers! Very cool.  The GW dudes are also nice!

Maybe tune down those mold lines a tad! Wink
