Hi,
well,
here we go for my army blog.

I want an original army, not very chaostylish, I think about my dwarfs more like Dark Dwarfs than Chaos Dwarfs.

In fact, I want to make a mid-technologic army with a touch of organic mutations. Maybe it's my -loving- memory of my Dirz and MidNor Confrontation armies. I hope you'll like it.

Maybe they live in an other place or fight for an other divinity or...
I hope you will help me with my army's background. Cheers!

EDIT: To begin, my 10 first hobbos from BFSP.
The shield style will be the same for my CD warriors Evil idea

Here, my first BBers, they are not heavily and evily converted but I like them just like this.

EDIT2:
The army list I want to achieve:
1 wizard general
1 wizard
1 wizard
1 BT hero (probably with battle standard)
20 CD warriors FC
15 BBs : 100% Exclamation
15 BBs
25 hobs with armor and shield : 50%
20 nakked hobs
20 nakked hobs
10 hobs with bows
10 hobs on wolves : 15%
2 BTs
2 BTs
1 ES
9 BCs
Great job Repone!
The BBers are awesome, but don't you think that they need some big hats Wink
Nice hats! Haha!  Cool idea. Happy

Those Hobbos look pretty cool as well. Wink
Lol i like conversion ideas, like your tin helmsTongue
those are so cute!!!!!! love the hobos
Nice shield and banner emblem sculpting! I also like the twi-tailed hat on the back hobgoblin. Very ineginues use of the bucklers. It works surprisingly well! Also, i like the eyepiece on the lead one and the sort of ripple effect on one of their faces. Kudos!
I love the hat idea. The one on the right look like a disaffected member of Al-Quaeda.
Great ideas.
Nice conversion work on the hobbos. As others have said the hats look great
I like how you did your gobbos, and the little face sculpts with them haha.
The idea of dark dwarves are interesting. So more chaosy based dwarfs (such as mutations and etc.), or just plain evil dwarfs? I am sure it is possible for a dwarf to be evil without influence from an evil god of some sort.
Yeah like you said Doogle.
Thanks everybody for all the keen comments!

Moreover, I want to make a kind of tribute to two Rackham's armys I used to play :
Dirz (dark techno human)
http://www.rackham-store.com/boutique/li...e_lg=lg_fr
Mid Nor (evil demonic dwarfs)
http://www.rackham-store.com/boutique/li...e_lg=lg_fr

I've finished my first unit! Cheers!
It's my BBs unit of 15 dwarfs!
I'm pretty satisfied of the global aspect of this unit. They looks like bad boys but not chaosy, like I said I'm want a dark dwarfs army, not a chaos dwarfs army (dont be rude with me pleeeeease).

I find there is a sort of WW1 touch, don't you think?

I really like your idea, and your execution thus far. As to your army's background, I do enjoy your unique approach of Dark Dwarfs, and I think perhaps I can contribute some army background which you may enjoy. Rather than consider your Dark Dwarfs as DIFFERENT, I propose they are simply an earlier version of chaos dwarfs, before they found their own niche in the Warhammer World, as follows:

With the persistent dark influences beginning to taking hold, the once peaceful Dwarfs now found themselves repulsed by their former brethren who had abandoned them to the terrors of the east. In a clear effort to shed the links to their past, these Dark Dwarfs began to experiment with new garb and armaments. It seemed as though the magics of chaos were in tune with this twisted desire, as the Dark Dwarfs found their skin began to pale, and their hair to become dark and heavy. In defiance of their heritage, the Dark Dwarfs began to dabble in magic, and continued to alter their appearance with the twisted metals salvaged from defeated enemies, and the natural resources they ravaged from the mountains themselves.

Nice writing Vex! It's a good introduction to my dark dwarfs colony!
Thank you very much Cheers!
looking good repone. My personal favourite is the BB with the built in binoculars from your latest pics. Top form
dude i like the faces they are so cool
A WIP of my wolf ridders.
I'm turning cadaverous wolves in alive wolves.

This greenstuff work is a real pain in the ass! Dont try to do the same at home unless you've got Toughness 5 and the Unbreakable special rule.
and a sculpting tool that re-rolls misses

nice idea, very feral looking and underfed. a true product of the darklands
well you made them look so easy !!!! i going to use mine as is .well maybe not!!
great idea
you could just add some mechanical parts to the wolves! cyborg wolves ridding by some cyborg hobgoblins (Space age technology!)

At the beginning I was thinking about it.
But two problems :
-It will take a lot of time ("cure" those wolves take a lot of time without sculpting some cyborg implants). And since I live in Argentina, I dont have my bits box (I left it in France)
-I fear my hobbos look better than my dwarfs or my centaurs, which could be a problem in the ziggurat hierarchy Sick

Looking good so far, but are you going to fill in the empty eye socket? Any idea on what the sculpts will look like for the hobgolins?
