somone on ebay tried to flog 40k breastmen got any amusing or horrifying storys about fake minis

I'm assuming he means beastmen.

There were 40K beastmen models, btw - the Imperial Guard could field them in 1st Edition, and they were part of the Chaos Cultist army in 2nd Edition.

I had a link somewhere to some beastmen converted into chaos space marines...  Looked pretty nice.

I think the Imp Beastmen hail from the time when there were several mutant human species in the game: Ogrynns, Squats, Ratlings, etc. Obviously some are still around  and the others, like these, have been relegated as "count as" armies like the Chaos Blood Pact.

Those commisars are much better than the actual ones

I'd buy the army.  I'd be really interested to see what the warmachines looked like...  

it could look cool, beastmen warmachines, just wondering if they would be made out of wood

probably not, as they did function exactly like normal troops and had armour

they where far superior to a guardsman too, to bad there gone now
