Sorry I am another fan of the warriors, and I do like the castle tactic that godbob mentioned, I read it in the chronicles of warhammer which is outakes of WD there are a few cool tactic things in there to play around with.
thanks deebo
anyway CD can be a shield line and move together turn by turn slowly geting closer to the opponent line
I just started the army and am currently converting BFSP dwarfs (so I haven't used the little buggers yet) but I've played fantasy for years. IMHO if you have several big blocks of CD warriors your opponent doesn't really have much choice but to engage them. 20 Warriors with command is over 200 pts, and by running 2 or 3 units you force your opponent to deal with them somehow. Can your opponent really afford to ignore 1/3 of your army (not including the characters inevitably hiding in the units), especially if you deploy with some sense and support your war machines with these units? Again this is all theoretical, and I suppose things are often very different in practice.
Why are you using Kyte's avatar? Unless he has given you permission to sdo so, please change it.-Willmark.
you must have paychent (can't spell)

It's spelt patience Godbob.
Use the Warriors on the flanks of the BB Units. Deploy them an inch or so back and when the BB's hold counter charge into the flank of the opponent. If you are lucky, and several units have held ina row the CD's will steamroll up your line taking out the opponents in a few rounds of combat. Full ranks, good solid attacks with a Hero, smack bang into the flank is a damned fine anchor.
They have their uses, alternatively, you take ONLY Warriors, backed up by large units of combat Hob Gobs deployed between each one and an inch or two back, and march the entire line forwards. Supported by Black Orcs and Earthshakers slowing the enemy down or neutralising their warmachines/massed shooting, you can slowly plod straight into the enemy. What gets especially fun is point blank dropping Earthshaker shells JUST in front of your units so as the enemy is now not able to charge and next turn you counter charge their failure. A Pure Combat CD army like this would work and with units of 30 odd warriors with 2 or so Combat Heroes in the main units, you're gonna really surprise the enemy.
Auretious Taak.
P.S. I prefer BB's because the hit everything on a 4+ regardless of range or moving is damned hilariously fun. Killing Dwarf warriors on a 3+ woot!
Again with the Earthshaker shells smack bang between units lol...
