I want to do at least one unit of BC perhaps two.

I'd like to use the GW bull bodies (which will hurt my wallet ) but I will probably convert my own upper torsos. I was thinking about buying 2 models of the Blood Bowl character Htark because they're easy to get but also some others from ebay.
What I wonder is; does anyone around here now if Htark's bull body is the same scale/size as the old 5:th edition BC's?

Yes, it is exactly the same size (and actually a much better fit than most of the Warhammer BC torsos)
