There was a time, when you were able to buy bits from - of example from the hellcannon such as the skulls...
- What happen, now you have to buy a box? why?
- Will the bits ever return?
Well Merchant, GW had to make a hard decision on costs versus return as a business, and they found that the bits cost too much. I hate it, as I bought lots of bits over the years.

But, they have slowly been bringing back the bits packs, so we can do some things. Not thrilled as I want to be able to buy each and every different thing I want. But it just took too many people to pack the orders and get them out.

Hopefully as the company recovers, it will return in the old fashion. I hope and pray for it someday.
Ohh okay thanks mate Happy
However, do you know what kind of bits that will be returning for order. I know myself, that Shields of almost any kind - now can be buyed as bits as well as Chaos Mutation Sprue....
Sorry for the delay, I'm at workSick

Uhm, as far as I know they were going to start by putting out some group "packs" that made sense, like shields, and the jumppacks for 40k. I know they added the Balrog wings (great for Tuarus wings now). The statement that Rick Priestly wrote basically said the best selling bits will be grouped along with the ones that make sense.

So if it is fairly straight forward and was selling well, it will probably be grouped over the next year, I think they have added new stuff just about every other week in US (but not too sure-they may have skipped one here or there.).

If it something obscure or an individual part, then it probably won't be added until they get over the current troubles.

Also, just so you know, the reason that they are packing them in "packs" and then adding them is so that they can basically be added to the normal "factory lineup". It is a lot easier to grab part numbers in a small pack, and double check them and get them out than it is looking for 1,000 different parts (out of 15,000) and then double-checking them to make sure they are right. That is as I understand it, and it makes some sense. They can then trim workforce/departments and group them together more efficiently.
