Still, next time, if I can, I'll join in, but if anyone has a webcam and mic and want to do this with me, that'd be cooler.
As for timings, if people have each other's MSN addresses, they can arrange to do it at the same time as some others etc via that. Or people state their timezone as GMT +/- X hours...
Ive got a webcam and a mic but i doubt many other people paint next to their comp.
If everyone is ok with it then they can post their msn address here but remember there is already an msn address thread here.
In future perhaps agree on a day a week or so beforehand and stipulate a specific date rather than "this Sunday". That'll give people a bit more warning and make it less confusing if this becomes a regular thing and this thread gets a lot bigger.
Anyhow... next Sunday (the 27th) is good for me. I'm probably a day ahead of most of you in terms of timezones so I guess i'll be painting before you guys, but that won't matter.
I decided to do it just for a quick test this time and it looks like it was successful so now we can start planning ahead for next marathons. It doesnt always have to be on a sunday but is everyone ok with the 27th?

As you can see i didnt get far at all with the mage as i couldnt think of how i was going to paint him so all i done was his beard.
This hobgoblin was almost finished so i just finished him off for this
I also done some small bits and pieces on other models but not enough to take pics. So in all i only finished 4 models but the other marauders are not going to take me long to finish now.
I wonder if there's much enthusiasm out there for another painting marathon this weekend?
I think people would get bored if it was every weekend. Why not do the next one on the 9th of August?
I didnt get much of a chance to take part in the last one as i was dragged into doing some things that took up most of the time i was planning on doing the marathon but i did get the blunderbuss finished that i was working on last time and i painted a bit more of another blunderbuss and a death rocket crewman (the one holding the rocket)
So new 6 hour paint thing August 10th? and should we kinda clean this forum up a bit?
The 9th is what i suggested but if you all want to do the 10th thats fine with me but i wont be able to take part. Thats why i suggested the 9th. Im going away on the 10th for a few days.

I dont think there needs to be a set time, just as long as we all get it done on the same day. Ill probably start at 12.

I think theres been so many because Wallacer is obsessed with it lol. Ive only taken part in 1 though so its not so bad. You shouldnt feel like you have to take part in every one.

Cause i have no idea how to use the microphone on msn and the webcam on skype. Is there a video call type function on msn?
Ive been busy today like i said i would be but i will get pics posted. At the moment though, im setting up my whole army since its gotten much bigger since my blog started but i never took any pics showing the new additions from ebay. Its taking a long time to set it up as i have to move the models from all over the house. Ill get pics up tonight.

I thought i would be painting blunderbuss but i ended up only doing a tiny amount to them:

I think these BC's look MUCH better.
The xbowman only had a few base colours before i started.
For the blunderbuss i only painted the one on the left and all i did was paint the armour red gore and highlight about half of it in blood red and painted the blunderbuss is boltgun metal.
So whens the next one going to be? The 31th of August or the 7th of September? Or does anyone want to suggest a different date?

We sure are!! Ghrask D is looking forward to painting his new army (boomsticks old one) and you are wanting to paint your completed collection of marauders and i really need to finish off the marauders i have at the moment and i should have 3 more by saturday. That leaves me with only 1 more to get. I really think there should be a Medal for those of us that complete the MM90 collection.

I counted up my painted models today and out of them i can make a 940 legal army. If i paint up 1 more Death Rocket Crewman i can bring that up to 1020 points and get myself a 1000 point army medal!

Theres nothing stopping you from taking part in the marauders marathon. Me, clam and ghrask dragh just didnt want to wait until the 7th to do another painting marathon so we decided to do one on the 23rd and we are all going to paint marauders or other cd's from that time period. You can take part on the 23rd and the 7th if you want to. They both still count as painting marathons if you do round about 6 hours.
Just a reminder about the painting marathon tomorrow. Hopefully everyone that said they can take part will take part.

Ill be painting my Iron Warriors and Grey Knights this time.
Wow that hellcannon is going to look awesome when its done! Did you use washes for it? Im staying at my girlfriends so i didnt have access to all my paints etc and didnt get to paint 6 hours straight so i will have to make up for it tomorrow when i get back home and ill be able to completely finish the models i almost got done today. I finished as much as i could on a Grey Knight and an Iron Warrior with Lascannon and i am almost finished a second Iron Warrior. I also done some of my Hellcannon as well.
