I have been meaning to start one of these for a while but haven't had access to a decent camera.
I just got myself a nice shiny new one so have pics

.
I will post more pics and updates when i have some models worthy of this site!
So, without further ado, here is my first pic;
This is a 'Hasslefree Miniatures' model entitled 'Chaos Dwarf' as found
here
Not a lot to it really, fairly simple colour scheme and i tried an ash/rock base.
Comments/Criticisms appreciated.

At the moment it doesnt look like its got much colour but that might just be the angle of the photo. That model is by pulper. He sculpts old marauder like chaos dwarfs. Heres his site:
http://www.twisted-tales.com
Try taking some more pics from a different angle then we will be able to see if it needs more/brighter colours so that all the parts dont blend together as much.
Are you going to add any lava to the base? Or maybe some glowing embers.
Good choice for your first miniature, pulpers stuff kicks *ss!
I like the silver armour but as there is alot of it maybe some blood splatter over the axe would be pretty cool? give it a bit of colour?
Great start Sousunou, look forward to more!!
the man of steal . it be cool if he had some glowing eyes
great job
He has a half-robe underneath (hidden by the angle), which can just about be seen under his (as in the model's) left arm. it's a deep red and looks really good. I do agree with the glowing eyes or perhaps a rune painted on, maybe a scrath in the helmt with a bright bit of metal? The picture doesn't do it justice (however, he has been captured by my Gaoler, he he he).
@ pyro - i agree it does feel a bit bland, i have a better pic but my home pc is in bits while i decorate...
@Ghrask - i did run one of the new inks over the axe blade, but it hasnt come out how i had planned - will make it a bit more prominent.
@kera - i am considering glowing eyes, maybe using the technique
here to lighten the model somewhat.
@hashut's blessing - that was only by proxy and he will be mine again soon *laughs menacingly*
Thanks for the input everyone

:
edit:

I have just thought of a better model to make into a Chaos dwarf 'Ironman' but will save that for another update and post, and when i have a picture.
Get more pictures up, laddie! As for getting HIM back, I captured the rest of your Mordheim Warband, he he he. Go Gaoler of GHVI! Be cool if you succeeded with the lighting effects...
Ok who knew about Pulper's Mage and didn't tell me about it... Anyone... Anyone? *reaches for his lightsaber*
Ok, i have rigged up a barebones pc in my dining room due to the decorating and have managed to copy across some newer pics.

Better pictures of the above model, not changed anything, just better angles
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BFSP thunderer champion, minor conversion, beard, pose and cape

Another 'hasslefree' mini, this time its for a lord, and is the model i intend to use
this technique on for the eyes and necklace/buckle thing.
Comments, criticisms?
Cheers
i like the purple and the blue beard.I like the last guy too
The BB champions face appears to have melted...
I'm sure it didn't look like that in RL, though...
As for the Lord, maybe add a little colour to his metal-plated arm. Perhaps a slight (LIGHT) blue in the runes, to stand out and break up that monotony a little. P.S. I need to borrow your Green Ink, but I can't recall what for lol.
