I'm working on my display board for my army. As I will be using most of it for troops I have a small section I can work with for making it look fancy.

What I have now is basically a hollow cone with the top part of the cone missing. It's something I found in the auto parts section. Now I was originally thinking of using this as a large cauldron to hold what I'd like to look like molten steel or something.

Next to it I have what looks like a rough upside down cone, with a smooth flat top. Almost like a platform. The platform has a very small monolith for added effect.

I'm  thinking of turning the large half cone into a monument to Hashut, but I need ideas of what to do.


Next to my display base I will have a "tablet" that has a two or three paragraph story of my army carved into it. It'll be highlighted by a bright color, so it'll stand out.

Well, I guess the obvious thing to do is to use it as a base for a statue.
Then it just comes down to how much you're willing to spend.  A cheap option would be to paint a CD figure grey to make it look like a statue or get a plastic Bull and glue some horns to it.
If you wanted to spend more money buy a proper Taurus or one of the Reaper Miniatures  Figures that look like a Taurus and use that as a statue.

What sort of ideas are you looking for?

My only suggestion really would be to read everything you can find about Hashut, and then brainstorm! The Wiki would be a good starting point
