heck if people object to my chaos dwarf than I run a CD themed dwarf army and my hobgoblins are count as dwarf warriors. since weapons are the same they can't complain
well, I have been thinking about army lists, but have been too lazy to actually make one. When I do, i will post it here with my ideas
well, I made a list that has all the things I want so far, but it is too many points. I need to fit in 2 more core choices, but I have no idea what to take out. I was thinking of taking out two giant slayer, which are the musician and standard, and also a bolt thrower. That would free up enough point to throw in some dwarf warriors.

Dwarf army list

so please tell me what you think I should do about this.
Well, first of all I am surprised that I forgot that u cannot have 2 tihngs with the same runic combination. I will scrap 1 of the bolt throwers, and will make the changes to the slayer hero. Personally, I prefer the iron breakers over hammerers, and I will not take 3 magic resistance. I preobably will take 16 thiunderers, to have 8 in eah row, and then take warriors. I have been talking with my local GW manager, and he says that slayers die to quickly, so put them in big units. I will probably keep it in a block of 20, but that is up for debate. Also, my ironbreaker unit might be a bit too muuch, since it has a hero and a lord in it, so i might tone it down even more. I wont take a rune lord, unless it is a 3000 point game. I am hooked on the gyrocopter and flame cannon, so those are not changing for sure. unless I find that the organ gun is much better. If I have enough points, I will probably put in a engineer. Thanks for all of the info so far, and please keep the ideas coming if you can.
Well, i am starting the wonder about the use of slayers, but I may use them. I am probably switching the flame cannon for a organ gun, and I am killing a bolt thrower. I may keep the slayer hero, but I will see how useful it is in the first game. If I end up getting rid of my slayers, I will probably switch them with more war machines, and also not take the slayer hero. I have made enough points for 2 units of 20 warriors with full command but getting rid alot of useless or even unusable stuff, so the problem with the core has been solved. I would never take 19 giant slayers, there are only 3 in that unit, for all of the command, but I took out 2 of them, so only the unit champ is one.
I personally chose to use chaos dwarfs as dwarfs since I like the rules for them, but using other armies may be good as well. I also have mfound a way to use the great taurus. Use it as a gyrocopter, since its breath weapon is the same strength as the gyro copter gun
How about a wizard that is starting to be petrified from the legs up, and he is on a shield bearer? (the only problem is that he would be a dwarf thane or lord, but it would work model wise, and wouldnt be too bad rules wise)
could you post the page that it is on in the army blog?
