I'm the proud owner of 13 month old Miniature Schnauzer, whom I adopted from the nearby humane society. She is a wonderful, if goofy, little dog. I named her Athena, as I did not like the name "Pepper". I'll post pics soon.
I remember the day I brought her home, I took her outside so she could go... and she sees a Vodka bottle. She goes up to it, sniffs it... growls rather loudly and then *kicks* it. That was back in October.
So who else has a friend of the canine species?
Nope, but it seems your pet is wise about alcohol consumption, he he he.
I believe we did a pet thread a while back.
I have a pure bred Golden Retriever named Teddy.

My dad is a Taurus, my puppy is a German Shepherd... they're like best buds. it's so cute. I mean, manly and tough. Grrrr!

Two. A pair of 2 year old Jack Russel Terriers. They might be insane.
ugh Jack Russels... There is one that lives in the house behind mine. It does nothing but yip all day.
Luckily i actually bother to train mine and they don't bark except when something startles them in their sleep. They've got a good amount of energy, but they're also very friendly and mostly well behaved.
Jack Russels? noooooo thankssssss.... too much energy. too much chewing of stuff to not be chewed.
I don't currently have a dog, but I'm a long time dog owner. When my last dog died, I decided not to have another one for a long time as I'm not fully able to look after one at home - I just don't spend enough time at home.
That being said, my last dog was a beagle/collie mix named "Sadie". I think she was the runt of the litter and spent most of her life proving herself against other dogs - very antisocial with them. At one point she picked a fight with a docile alsatian and had her ear bitten all the way through. She was the cutest dog I've ever seen. The fur on her ears stuck up in all sorts of weird ways, making her a kind of dog-Einstein.
I don't do cats either, not after the inbred mutant kittens I had about 10 years ago. This isn't a joke - they really were inbred mutants. They hid from us all day and came out at night. They crapped behind furniture and in cupboards - I'm STILL finding dried cat crap when I move furniture. It just didn't end well and now I'm cat shy.
lol i see the cat realy love you grndl
