I could never bring myself to collect High Elves, and find Tomb Kings and Lizardmen pretty boring.

I'm hoping to solve that with an idea   I'm trying out at the moment on an army for the next local national tourney in October.

To answer the question: Ogres.
I have around at least 1000 points of every other WH army (sad, isn't it? )
What's so wrong about Ogres?
1 - too many large bases - I mistrust armies with lots of large models
2 - too much meat (I'm a veggie, right?)
3 - all the Ogres I bought are either the old metal ones (the old, old Chaos ogre in armour is my favourite), which do bot fit with the new types, or the new plastics which end up converted and consigned to a different force i.e. I bought a box of 6 ogres: 1 went to the Vampire Counts army (a spirit host by himself); 1 to a pulp WWII force (!); one ended up as a giant in my Epic Ork army; and the last 3 have been consigned to and are in chains.

I personally like every army, each brings different tactics, paint schemes, and cool conversions to the table but personally I don't think I'll collect any High Elves. Their units seem too similar (IE: White Lions=High Elves with Big Weapons. Pheonix Guard=More High Elves with big weapons. And Finally Swordmasters=What Else but High Elves with Big Weapons???)

I wouldn´t collect Elves, don´t like the playstyes they offer right now.

I wouldn´t collect Bretonnians, since I wouldn´t be able to make an army I like (peasant army, the only knights would be the characters & perhaps a single regiment of Grail Knights, much more like the historical armies, but alas it isn´t allowed to not use any core knights, nor to have 5+ units of mounted Yeomen) & because 2 of my regular opponents play them.

I wouldn´t collect normal Dwarfs, since I dislike gunlines (which is the only decent build there is).

I wouldn´t play Skaven since I can´t really be bothered to paint up another horde army.

I love skeletons, so unlike many of you, Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings are the way to go for me. Also i love brettonia for their look, I made a real cool paint scheme making them look like crusaders

I would not collect
Orcs I dont like how the models like have there *ss hanging way out, they should be hunch backed, not looking like they are bout to get but raped, IMO. (i would collect goblins, just not orcs)

Chaos armies following the Slaanesh (unless its beast men, make funky colors)

and I probably wont ever collect an empire, skaven, dwarf, or ogre kingdoms, but i really would like too, the only turn off is the ogre kigndoms cost a lot get a few models, i hate gnoblars, skaven would take a long time to paint, empire i would just rather have brettonian, and dwarf i would rather go chaos dwarf.

The only armies I haven't collected over my 2 decades of playing these games is Wood Elves and High Elves.  My attempt at Dark Elves lasted 2 months..

So, I'd have to say that pointy-eared, dandylion-eating gits would be the armies I won't collect. I hate ponsy armies..

I think I will never collect beast of chaos theyre kinda in my opinion a brownish version of orcs, dwarves (although I really would like the idea to create an all miner looking army ...bunch of conversions right there), asrai (that just the wood elves in the wood elves book love my forest spirit army), high elves, Tomb kings and skaven

Wood, Dark, and High Elves, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings, Skaven, Daemons, Beasts, and Warriors of Chaos, Empire, Orcs and Goblins, Ogres, and Dwarves are no-gos.

i would never collect an elf army of any type. they all seem really boring plus I don't like there fluff.

Good thread, the armies I will never collect would be High Elves, Wood Elves, Lizardmen and Bretonnians.

No elves, don´t like the look of lizardmen so they´re out and Ogre Kingdoms seems like a boring army.

I have Dark Elves...me likes the evilness of them....that and Witches are smoking hot!

Lizardmen-I have been there once long ago and I am not going back
Bretonaia-doesn't hold my interest
Daemons-I have owned in the past, I just am not interested in the band wagon
Dwarves-I have many friends who play them already
Vampire Counts-the band wagon again (I believe I am a better general for avoiding the temptation)
Wood Elves-They repulse me

Its worth it though!

I don't. I love my rats.

That said, I don't like a lot of Skaven armies I've seen, they just don't look right a lot of the time.
