I'm in.Happy The idea of sending our models pics to the GW is the best prize to imagine.Cheers!
very good idea. I have a Doomseeker that has been waiting to be turned into a chaos dwarf for quite some time now...
So it must be conversion, or it could be sculpted from bases?
I already have the perfect model. A Hellcannon crewman standing onto of the Demon head that came with a Games Day model a few years back!
I'll enter, just so long as I can get a working camera and figure out how to post pics
Thanks for the adivse Hal, once my camera stops being so damn temperamental I'll get my entire army up online!
Some fluff that Hashut's Chosen wrote for the Armour says that it was created for the Warlord Gazrakh. He was one of the most paranoid Chaos Dwarfs ever and he would even wear it in his sleep.
"Gazrakh was a Lord General who kept
having dreams of being stabbed in the
back by his own troops. He commissioned
the Arcane Engineers to create an
impenetrable suit of armour which he wore
night and day during his campaigns,
taking the armour off only when he was in
his own home. Gazrakh gained much
acclaim as a commander, winning the
undying loyalty of the armies he
commanded. It wasn’t until Gazrakh
retired that he was attacked by one of his
own bodyguards under the employ of the
priests who were nervous over his growing
power and stabbed in the back while he was sleeping."

I wonder if arcane engineers attached to the armour some steam/demonic engines Wink
I will be entering this competition with a converted....

...well i'll let you wait and see...Takes Hat off
Kytes entering? Ive already lost...
Im not actully entering, due to having only just started chaos dwarfs (plus serious lack of skill).
Still, it'll be interesting to see everyone elses models.
That was on HoH, I believe.
Several GW have that very pose.  The ones that spring most to mind are a couple of Dark Elves and the plastic Goblins.
another example is the beast man bestigor from the chariot. (a sweet model btw)
cant wait to see this conversion!
I thought they had scrapped that, half of the Golden Demon winners are almost 100% sculpts, the only requirement is that it isn't by another manufacturer and that it fits into the universe.
My entry can now be seen here: http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showth...hp?tid=467
And I hereby relinquish my copyright to these pictures yadda yadda...

I think its tournament rules that says 50% of the model must be GW. I can remember not long ago in white dwarf a pic of a chaos lord of a daemonic mount that must he been more than 50%  sculpted, considering the mount was and it was huge!

Saying that though if we wanted to enter a fimir or some other written out creature where would you get 50% of the parts. I can imagine the rule only applies if they make the mini your doing themselves. Im sure you will get away with sculpting a hell of a lot more than using another companies figures.

Cant wait to see everyones finished results!
