That is a huge hat.

i am really liking that new hero/lord with the uber hat. I never really liked the big hat guys but your works are just making them come alive for me. Very creative, and a nice twisting blend of styles with that banner.

Damn,,,, If I had a ninja outfit, I think id end up stealing your whole load of ideas bud. Love the big hat work !

Really impressive work there! I'll look forward to see him finished
Although I hope his hat will be heavily decorated; he's worth it!

very cool adaptation of Astragoth. I didnt realize the marionette stylings til you mentioned them, i thought of it more of a mechanically assisted bodywork. Guess i need to step up my efforts to find my old cd informations and review. lol. Inventive, festive and quite an inspiration!

Wow, it took me two days to read through this whole blog, but it was two days well spent. This is brilliant work, and I must admit that after seeing your army in the showcase I did copy the pin hat idea. However it has a little twist on it, so hopefully you won't mind. My favourite is the Lammasu, I love how creative people can get and that is one of the best I've seen! The 'naked' hobgobs is a great idea too. The bull centaurs are great, although, if you don't mind me saying so, I'd think about changing the position of the lower bodies. Just so they don't all look the same. And the scimitars are a great idea! Who says dwarfs only use axes and hammers? Brilliant army so far, can't wait to see Astrogoth finished.
Big Hats for the win!

Great peice, starting to wish i hadn't bought astrgoth. I do agree that he does look a bit too healthy, and he still has a black beard. But overall flawless work otherwise.

Quick question, whats Astrogoths hat made from? Also hope you don't mind me using the pin hats as well, they're just so easy to use.

Looks good, also simple, but effective
Don't worry, they're not direct copies, you can see what I've done in my own blog. But don't let me distract you, we want more!

Nice adaptation on the colossus, great use of that model with some wonderful additions.

I like fire motif on champion and other miniatures and shields... keep going in work
06-28-2009, 06:30 PM
Hmmmmm eyebrows I that if you were to add them to the existing models and new models to come then you would maybe detract from the comedy element making them less comic, Bad idea in my humble opinion besides I love and so does everyone else that visits this forum so its a big fat no from me bud

new lord is nice looking, he be one horny dawi... lol. Very proud of his horn'age he seems, a definate way to gore one's way to alpha dwarf domination.. Excellent character and personalization thru out your evergrowing minions, really liking the banner on that lord too.
Great Stuffs.

I love your Earthshaker crew! Especially the hobbo on the top of it!
Really great job painting Darsnakh; the magma pool effect is wonderful!
Keep up the good work Tjubs, and I hope we'll see a painted Kolossus sometimes soon...

the earthshaker came out beautifully (as if there would be any doubt with your works... lol), luv the flaming skull from Darsnakh's hand. He is turning to stone isnt he? Maybe my eyes are playing trickies on me... sure seems like a stoney brow and that right hand?
is he coming from the lava or is the crust breaking under the strain of his stone body threatening to imerse in the life blood of Hashut below? or maybe its a secret held within... muwhahahahaha.
Xcellent and inspiring as usual.

I heard someone in the corridor shouting "and the Kolossus?". It wasn't me, you can be certain about it

What about it? I will not keep it... Or atleast it will not be a part of the new army.
Whaaaaaaaaaa No way thats a huge shame figuritively! . I so wanted ot see that big bad boy painted up and compair it to my own ...
Its a huge huge shame were not going to see it again
I do hope that you may change your mind but I must say that I wish you good luck. I cant sculpt with g/s or miliput half as good as you and I am well impressed with my little Tjub inspired force. Even if perhaps your not quite so impressed with your own as we are.
