I think collecting the medals and having more than one is cool. *awards The Flying Beaver a Bronze* Tongue
*big grin* Redundant but cooler looking!  Well, your call TFB, haha.  I make too many decisions already. Wink

EDIT: Removed them. Tongue
CD Tournament win might deserve some kind of medal.  Like a "Chaos Dwarf Community Recognition" medal or something.  Something that means you are spreading the knowledge of Chaos Dwarfs in the Warhammer community.

*2000 points medal awarded*
Pyro is correct. Happy
Everyone knows Chaos Dwarfs deal in slaves.  Whether it is from Orc bosses, or Ogre Tyrant, if you want the services of a Chaos Dwarf you pay them with slaves!

I am happy to announce that CDO's slave plugin is now working.  The only people who can give out slaves are Admins and Mods.  They will be able to reward people for good posts, good etiquette, for winning painting competitions, or anything else!  Users will also gradually earn slaves for being members, you may not even know why!  We have decided to keep it a mystery to reduce abuse.  And look out!  If you are caught being mean or nasty to fellow members, the staff may see fit to punish you by sacrificing your slaves!

It's pretty simple, be a positive member of the community and you will earn slaves, be a negative member of the community and you will lose slaves.  Slaves are good for bragging rights, as well as a sense of accomplishment!  Once you earn your own slaves you can donate them to other users, or even pay users to make you things (like avatars!).

Currently, slaves will be earned quite slowly, so don't be too worried if you don't have any!

Let the slave trade begin!

One Slave for Pyro for posting first in this news thread! (Not enough people post replies about news!)
Haha.  Good stuff. Tongue

I am not yet sure how I will award slaves to mods/admins, unless we leave it up to each other to award ourselves, hehe.
Reputation is purely for use in The Market Place section.  It's an ebay-like tracking system.  So if you want to buy from someone, you send the money, and they don't send you anything, you can give them negative reputation.  Or, you can buy something from me, get exactly what you paid for, and give me a positive reputation.

This is all more clealry explained in the Market Place sticky.

Also, the Calendar abuse has been fixed, apparently the default settings allow unregistered people to post events in the Calendar... go figure.  Thanks go out to those who helped us quickly put a stop to this! Ahh, the power of active administration!
Sounds good to me!

Also, look at the Grudge Bearer page.  This is eventually how I want all sources referenced and cited, so we know we have only the best and most accurate information!

Slaves go to people who look up page numbers and correctly cite sources for new or existing pages!
Spammers?  I am not sure I follow you, Nagathi.
I don't think a tomb kings section is really necessary as Tomb Kings is probably covered by the real Wikipedia...
Unless you have information that directly related to Chaos Dwarfs, it doesn't belong in this Wiki.  As Pyro said, there is a much better place for that.

The wiki is meant to be a place where someone can learn everything about Chaos Dwarfs.

Awesome, I was wondering what these were, can I suggest a medal for contributions to the modeling section as well. E.g. Xander's video guides have probablly helped far more people to take up CDs than the wiki, surely it deserves a medal of its own

Haha. Takes Hat off

I am trying my best to spread the word.  Perhaps a Community Contribution Award of some kind?

I have ways of knowing how people got here. Cheers!

I will know when people are coming from elsewhere, and generally know who is responsible for it. Wink
We are trying to fix it, but so far, no luck. Tongue
Yes, we've tried using it too... :/

you can read all about it here: http://www.mybbcentral.com/showthread.ph...32&page=18
It's a mystery! Tongue
I might have some time today to get these things working.
Slaves are donated by Mods, so yes, there is an economy of sorts.  They are designed to reward efforts which benefit the community, including but not limited to conversion guides, posting pictures of models, and good community attitude.

There is also an automated system in place, which yes, is a mystery. Tongue
The army you post should be a viable list, proper core, heroes and all that should be chosen.  It you are using your Juggernaut as a unit filler, point it accordingly.  If your Juggernaut is going to be treated as a giant, point it so.

I think you get the picture.
