@Xander - if Pyro's signature is correct and one can have a custom title after 1000posts, then maybe you could do the same with slaves?

I think it's pretty useful to have at least something about every army, even if it's just a short blurb and a link to the wikipedia entry. I've been putting in links to any army I mention on pages I create or edit, and most of them don't go anywhere right now.
How about awards for 'evangelists', spreading the word via their signatures in other forums? Should help on the Google front too.
Thats quite a good idea IMO, how would you be able to judge if the links in sigs were making a difference though, perhaps we should have a thread where people can say how they got here...

I'm guessing that we can get slaves from posting? It seems like there's a 1:1 ratio but sometimes it doesn't happen. Maybe its a 1:2.
Its definitely easier to rationalize the slaves as reproducing, but it would be nice to know how slaves are gained besides donations.
I thought there was an economy of slaves, managed by the mods, but a limited influx. You don't want slaves devalued too much. (Beat-, er, coercive encouragement might devalue them enough..)
Just how and why you gets slaves is a mystery. Rather then trying figure it out just make good posts. If you do, I'm sure father Hashut will reward you.
