hehe, a little late to take some unpainted pics of him, isn't it? ^^ is there something you cannot see on the WIPs in the converting section?
ehem, okay... what comes next? ahh....
BY HASHUT, run, run RUN AWAY, it's alive and it's... evil! with an evil club

by the way, if anyone missunderstand it, i didn't sculpt the mini, i kept it for years and now i wanted to paint it. it's an old GW Familar... love the mini ^^

yay, these are my Bolt Throwers. i painted the hobbos in different shades of green. and... rust is cool ^^
i like this photo more, you see the colours better on it:

comments welcome ^^

no... i hate these f***in' BTs, i even wouldn't use one, but i like the minis so much, so i everytime chose two for my army ^^. i would prefer more Rockets, or some orcs or blorcs or... everything else, but not more BTs ^^
@cornixt: the puppet costs 3€ (don't know how much dollar) in the mail order, so a unit with 21 of them would be too expensive ^^. but is will put him into my planned scratchbuild ragdoll unit
@Lord Darkash: .... i think, you should build your own "harpoons" ^^
dammed, why doesn't anyone copy me?

before you forget my beloved Dwarf Factory, i'll show you my new lil' fiends. here they are without paint

yes, you're right... puppets! ^^ these are my Nikkits, Hobbos without anything. i made them out of milliput and green stuff and it was quite quick to build them.
but even more quick was it to paint them:

i started on monday, yesterday i finished them. needless to say that i don't spend the whole day with painting ^^. you see the scarecrow is missing. i bought some dark age miniatures and want to paint 2 or three before i'll work on the "champ" of my puppets.
stay tuned for more

i sacrifices millions of slaves before hashut gave me the inspiration. he want me to inspire to do the same
i made the flames of the bigger puppet similar like the method which is told here http://us.games-workshop.com/games/warha.../putty.htm.
for the smaller puppet i made little spkey sausages of GS and added one by one. they are both quite effective and i cannot decide which technique i prefer.
EDIT: by the way, what you cannot see on the pic is the second burned puppet of the pase from the smaller one. it's painted like the ground, so you for you it's quite invisible ^^

this is sick, man... i love it!
as you've seen, i'm pretty rare in this forum right now. the reason isn't that i've stopped serving Hashut, but i was very busy preparing myself for traveling around in central america for some months. i will return in april and i hope, that i'll have some time to make my BCs, the ES and some hobbos to have at least 1000 points, to finish a project.
but i know it is my duty to answer questions like
this is very easy, i started with very thinned scorched brown on black primer. after that, i washed it with vermin brown, also with a huge part of water in it. than blazing orange... and you are right, you have to give a lot of water into the paint ^^. now you have rusty BTs. now you can drybrush it with a metal colour, but i prefer to paint some mithril silver on the edges. if you paint is "manual" instead of drybrush it, it takes lot of time, but looks... clearer ^^
this is, what you wish ![]()
okay, back again, since allmost 2 months. but i was pretty lazy at first with doing CDs, but i was so busy with getting drunk play playstation and go on parties. and i red lots of book. for you, everything of that is unimportant
. then i converted a lot and didn't paint at all.
well, it will take me a lot of time, since i paint the whole unit (especially because i need a lot of new colours, but don't have any money
), so i present to you, now, my converted hobbo-unit WIP! ^^.

the picture is bad, i know, but i don't care. i like it, when you can't see everything right now, be patient, servants of Hashut ^^
later more... much later, now i prefer to build a Gaoler
but yeah, i'm back again to answer your questions for a donation of just one slave per question
wait till you see them painted *muahahahaha*
i'm just kiddin', thanks for the nice feedback
the Big Guy is the troll of the bfsp box, inspired by the blind killer-monsters in Resident Evil 4 (my favorite game ^^)
and i like the helmets, too ^^. they are kind of funny, unique, easy to make and give them a militairy look. i tried to give my Hobbos a new special style, but nobody wants to copy it

you have to pay me one slave for this information!
but i trust you so i answer now
. this is simply a gobbo standard bearer from Gamezone. i gave him a mask ^^

).don't forget to pay me, i don't want to become a rich Dawi Zharr but Znoth the Infernal needs more slaves to send them to Zharr-Naggrund (you have to know, he has some problems with the traditional, conservative government
)slave trade is fun

you can "steal" it, the idea is not even from me. a friend of mine had the idea as we started playing warhammer, many years ago. he don't play anymore, but his movement-trails-idea is still on the battlefields (i just increased the quality by using plasticard instead of paperboard for the ground
)
and nope, i don't think that i will paint them soon, i decided to convert a lot now, before i paint everthing... i still don't have 1000 points and i don't want to play with the stupid bfsp-cannon as a ES or beastmen as BCs and so on... then i would prefer to play with the complete converted minis... even if they are just black... i think, everyone of you can understand me ^^
but hey, i hope i can present you a painted Gaoler, soon
