Well after a bit of a delay here it is: Issue #4 of the Word of Hashut! Beware this one is big, 51 megs!

Sorry for the delay, we ran into some issues mainly in production snags in the middle of the process, as well as the very end with editing; hopefully the wait was worth it. We hope to have Issue #5 on time, but we will see what happens as we have not quite hit the due date yet; which is most vexing to this Dark Lord of the Sith...

Well, what can I say about Issue #4? Without spoiling it it... its jam packed. This issue represents our biggest ezine thus far at 76 pages of awesome Chaos Dwarf "goodness".

In this issue we also tried some new features and we are eager to hear what your feedback is for them. As we go forward we are trying to keep things fresh and not the same old boring thing every single time. So if you have suggestions of things you'd like to see let us know; or barring that get something together and send it in!

Looking ahead who would have thought it, one year ago around this time I was thinking of getting the webzine off of the ground: June 2008 it was and one year ago The Word of Hashut was born. So appropriately Issue #5 has been in the planning stages for quite some time so hopefully it will live up to our expectations.

So on behalf of the Word of Hashut team please enjoy our efforts.

NOTE: As  always for those with lower speed internet connections you can access a low res (its 9.6 megs) version here (caution it will look terrible if you print it from this file) http://www.mediafire.com/file/z1tmgldnuy...sue4lr.pdf

And a third way is now available for viewing: http://issuu.com/wordofhashut/docs/woh04

As always if there is something we missed please let me know, with something this big its bound to happen Wink.

Willmark

You need to eat two bowls of Awesome Flakes for breakfast now!

My download resulted in a broken file Sad but I will try again!
You might want to edit page 5 to say By GeOrc instead of By Grimstonefire beside the model at the top of the page.
Mordheim articles are always needed.
In my opinion it's the best issue so far! Congratulations to everybody who take a part in it!

I guess it time to stop being lazy and start working on the another article for me again, because i didn't do any after WoH number 2 Wink
Finally back!

First of all, well done! I must say that all of you have done a great job this issue (and even a few different artworks on a few pages from the previous version of issue4?). I made a list of the few errors it had before, but you have reduced my list to only one (and that´s on p.19, where it should say "tjub" and not "tjubs".

And I had one little question about the magma pool spell. It was good that it had a range you could teleport one mini, but you don´t need any range to cast the spell on him. Hell, you don´t even need to see him to cast the spell!?! Shouldn´t there be some more restrictions on that one? I imagine that it´s based on the skaven spell, but that one have also received a lot of critisism.

Besides of that, all good. Well done!

It's supposed to be cast on the Sorcerer himself. I'd have to look at what we wrote to check that it specifies that, but that's the idea.

Hmmm the low rez works on either PC or Mac there Gaxio what was the message you were seeing?

Also Arashi I'll take care of it as I noticed one other small typo.

attention hog. Tongue

this issue was great. the caliber of work that came in was fantastic too. there was just SO MUCH to edit, it was a tough juggle with other stuff (plus I lost a whole bunch of edited stuff and had to start over *sniffle*)

good work Willmark! and all the contributors! Cheers!

Indeed big thanks to Sojourn and Cornixt yet again on the editorial side of things.
Word of Hsahut medals have been awarded to those who earned them on Issue #4.
