I decided to make an army blog:

Momentarily I have two different "projects"!

The first one is to make a new kind of Blunderbusses with BoSP miniatures. I work several weeks on this minis but there is only a very slow progress with them ...

Here is an overview of them:

I struggle with myself if I should make "real" Blunderbusses or if I should let the rifles like they are?!?!
I´m not sure how to make them and if "real" Blunderbusses fit to my Slavehunters?!?!

              Hashut!

My new "project" are Bull Centaurs! I want to make three more of them to get a full unit of five! The two others are finished - they are visible in my Showcase Blog!Wink

This is the beginning which began and proceeded this afternoon:

The plan was to use these minis ...

The beginning ...

The first result ...

Here can you see that I changed my first choice and used another mini. The reason was that I wanted a "real" musician and I found that bagpiper ...

That´s the result of this afternoon which was interrupted several times by my relatives! Mad

That¨s it for the moment!

Inside they Box looks that they are on party Takes Hat offCheers!dead
Thanx for your positive feetback!

@ Border Reiver: Yes the guy plays a bagpipe, but I forgot from which company the mini was Sad

@ kerbak: I used the bull part from Impact Miniatures, they are Blood Bowl Players!
And yes I took part at the GH IX, my mini had the number 4! You can see my new Standard Bearer which I also made in my showcase threat! Wink

Great work Zanko the WOC heads work really well with dwarf bodies, i dont think you need to add any thing to the guns they look really good as they are and fit the over all look of the model.

Clam i think that the head is from the WOC box and is in fact a standard top but i could be wrong am sure Zanko will correct me if i am Happy

I´m not sure!

I got the the heads from my nephew. He collects Chaos Warriors so I believe they were from the WOC Box like you mentioned.

            Hashut!

@ clam: Your are right!
The helmet is not from the WoC pack, this one is from Max Mini ...

I forgot hat I ordered them some month ago ... yeah I´m getting old Sad

            Hashut!
The bull centaurs are excellent, and it's nice to see the Maxmini helmets fit so well. Now if they'd be less pricey .. Happy
I made some GS work at my BCs ... not sure how it will look when it´s dry and I have time to see it at daylight?!?!

Nonetheless here are some new pics of my (doubtful) efforts ...

I hope you can see something of the new GS work ...

... and here are also three of the far advanced Blunderbusses!

... here I used another MaxMini helmet!

... to be continued!

          Hashut!
Great work keep it coming Happy
Now my next update:

Not very much ... I (probably) finished the work with the greenstuff and begun to paint the minis.

This is the result for the moment:

Criticism, suggestions and compliments are welcome! Cheers!

            Hashut!
@ clam: I thought a little different pose would be fine! Even opponents from the side want to be slashed!

... the clipped off rest of the mini fitted better on the BC body with the view to the sight! That was the main reason for glueing

the two parts together in that manner.

             Hashut!
Now a small update!

Not very much stuff but work kept my hole attention in the last time ...

These are some of my Blunderbusses ... burdensome affair to paint them all!

I saw this Dragon some years ago. After Rackhams retreat from making lead minis I bought this one before I wasted my last chance to get the mini.
At this time I haven´t any good idea what to do with the Dragon but I´m confident that the inspiration will come ...

I decided that the Death Rocket needs a new crew ... here they are:

I found these two guys at my cellar ... strange!

That´s it for the moment. I fear that this would be the last update for the next time cause I will have to work at the GH entrance ...

Today I had the thought to resurrect my "Army Blog" - no sooner said than done!

These are my latest projects - despite painting some "ordinary" Chaos Dwarfs!

Primarily I want to finish my Fimir/Bogs. There is still much to do ...

Then I created this Centaur Hero/Warlord - this is the result:

... and last but not least a Demon - that's the result so far! After getting Da Crusha's Taurus head I can finish the model!

To be continued ...

I have mixed feelings about your fimir ...

In what aspect do you have problems with the/my Fimir? The paint scheme, the minis or in general?

The Centaur is originally from" Chronopia", it's a Devout one - here is a pic:

The head is an alternative one from Hasslefree's Minotaurus/Ogre miniature!

                     Hashut!

@ clam: What's the problem with the head?
I use the Axenarf as a Minotaur!
And so the head was left ... imo it was a good idea to use em for my Centaur Lord! Big Grin

Concerning the Fimir I considered about other paint schemes but at the end I came to the conclusion that I like the background story and in this context I wanted to paint them in a "swamp" colour!

... and yes the Demon is the "Chronopian" one! I want to use the Taurus head for him - as a "real" Greater Demon of Hashut! Hashut!

The Heresy Demon is brilliant but I wanted a model for conversion making! Perhaps I will buy the other one at another time ...

                     Hashut!
@ clam: I wasn't aware that the Axenarf model would be cast as a metal model! Shock

And so I wasn't aware that the head I used for the conversion wouldn'd be available in a metal version!

So imo my question/doing wasn't that strange/ignorant you might feel! I think to make a conversion is better than storing the head in a box in the
            basement! Tongue Wink

And I bought the model using it as a Minotaur and not an Ogre! Wink

@ Khan: You haven't offended me! Big Grin

I was just curious for what reason you hab "mixed" feeling!

Formerly I had the same feelings towards the Fimir - but it changed and now imo they are really cool with an extraordinary (and political incorrect!)
             backgrundstory! Cheers!

As said it's your money/model - do with it as pleased.

- But if I just had known - I would have paid you a fortune for that head. I don't want to pay £35 for a 'plastic' model - limited or not. I'm all metal. I did surgest Kev to do a helmet head variant for this - and would have loved to have had that head for my metal Ogre - comming in May/June.

The idea to buy the expensive plastic one was that I thought that there will be no metal one in the future, that I like the mini and furthermore I believe Sally and Kev should be supported! Happy

If I had known that this model will be released as a metal one I might have waited too! Like you I prefer metal minis also much more than plastic ones!

And if I would aware that you would like to have this head - no problem ... I think we would found a solution, an exchange with the Minotaur head for example! Wink

                     Hashut!

Here are my 3 Minotaurs - 2 AoW models and the Hasslefree "Axenarf" model!

Imo they fit great together! Big Grin

                     Hashut!
Thats one cool looking unit of minotaurs the aow ones look really good, cant wait to see them painted up Happy
Here are some new pics of my Greater Demon of Hashut!

Now with the Taurus head which i got from Da Crusha!
