I think they look good. But, strangely, I think that blue light makes them look even better. Maybe put a (ULTRA!!!!!!!)thin wash of blue on the metal part of the shoulder plates.

I,ll try it.

I still think it's really random, but can you see what I meant with the blue? I suppose it just sort of adds a colour, but not too much. Accentuates the red instead of dominates it, sort of thing.

Thanks for comments!
I painted red with scrab red and blood red higlights on a metal(Boltgun metal then chainmail then mithril silver). Hope this'll help. And good luck on the black orcs.

Nice and clean paint job!
Although I have to say that the colour scheme would be a bit too bright for my taste - they seem more like Blood Bowl players to me.

Looking great man, keep the pictures coming!

I notice the lack of attempt at "blueing" them
Still, they're looking really good. I assume you got the box of 20. (Can use two units of 10 if you ally with O&G!)

Thanks! I have 10 of this new guys and a 10 of the old 6ed ones.

I love the brightness of this army. Sometimes orc armies can get painted way to dark and it's hard to tell if they're painted well. It's a nice contrast.

Those are really nice figures.

Yeah, but this scheme works, so why risk wrecking it?

something i noticed how much effort does it take to get them to line up! i dont know what i did with my drummer but he now has to stand on the corner or next to one specific guy.
im loving your colour scheme i think i might go with the same kind of style.

Yeah, ranking these guys up is a pain, esp. the command group

follow that painting tutorial, all you need is another 5 mins on each model and do some highlights and such and they will become very impressive, them 5 mins are usually the difference between good painters and exeptional painters

Thanks for your comments guys
The first models i painted was dark and ugly
, so as my painting skills increased i started to paint them more brightly. And now i want to try painting my models in more weathered style. So that's why they are so clean and shiny.

The new plastics are much better &cheaper then the old metals. Lots of extra bits & you can convert or make a variety of poses/weapon combos.
Nice Black Orcs there!!
