ok i know this has probably been covered by many people
what i want to know is how you get the lava effect on your bases, as well as what colours you use for shading the black.
what i was thinking was drybrushing the base with gradual black/codex grey mixes. and for my lava work from mechrite red - bloord red - orange - yellowy/orange - yellow - then a final touch of white.
what are your opinions?
