Everone was saying they needed somthng to convert the archers into but why not convert into Hobbo archers?
Nice idea, might try a few of those myself at some point, however could you take a couple of pictures of the backs of the models, as I would like to see how easy it is to get rid of the arrows there

Damn, I've already painted my archers... have to get some more. My old git conversions are decidedly worn out. I'd go for dull bronze for the masks, 50:50 boltgun/chaos black for the blades. Still wish I'd seen them earlier
I do like hobbo archers as a core choice (people are so suprised when they have a range of 24") but gitz do add variety. Its allways good to bew able to vary your army selection a bit
Interesting. Although I honestly don't see the point in buying expensive multipart figures just to convert BFSP ones...

I don't think its a case of hating SG its more of a case of hating the nerfing of them. The rule changes for them were really not thought out, if at all. Especially in lightbof the fact they should be skirmshers.
Seriously. Anyone believe that guys as untrustworthy as these have the discipline to maintain coherent formations? I see them as a big unruly mob stabbing anything in the back they can find. YMMV.
I use em as DoW duelists if I have a spare rare slot, but my models don't look too hot
