Which unit shall i paint first then?

Don't know about the unit, but if you could paint the two-headed dwarf model and post some nice pic of him, then I could steal him for my avatar Takes Hat off

I'm talking about the guy in the second rank, second from the right. This guy, and the Master of Madness are my favorite CD 3rd ed minis. Too bad I can't find them on any auctions Angry

Thanks man, that would be great Happy I'll give you at least 1k slaves for that Respect to the Hat!
And thanks for reminding me their name.

Well that was the quickest renegade i ever painted. I posted the imagges in the Renegades Thread. If you are going to use the pictures for your avatar then please say in your sig or something that i painted it. If you are wanting different pictures then tell me and i will get them tomorrow. I have to finish my maths homework now.

That sure was quick. And don't worry, I was already planning to mention you in the sig. Man, you've got great skills! I wish I could paint like that.
Oh, and I was serious about the math Wink I graduated from university recently and I've had some math there (although I specialised in electronics). BTW what kind of homework do you have in the middle of summer? Happy

Even without the banner he still looks awesome! Have you considered creating your own banner? I see that practically every mini in your collection is not converted, so maybe you want to keep it that way?
Nice color scheme. I think that someone (somewhere) said that blue doesn't look good on CD, but I like it on this guy.

Pyro Stick Wrote:
It says in my first post about my army being completely not converted.

Indeed. {free slave if you guess who said that Happy }
Sorry for my mistake, the overwhelming amount of pictures keeps me away from text in your first post Tongue But I've read it carefully this time.

About your question - maybe it's time for a missile unit? You could either paint the crossbow-dwarfs or do the bases for Blunderbusses.

The finished sorcerer looks great! How long it takes you to do the bases for your heroes?

War machine!
Great job Pyro. Now lets see a unit of Bulls - Please!
i got a back banner pole from ghazak khan spare if you want it for you sorceror - its not as good as the original ones but at least its something
You're a seriously talented painter pyro.  They all look cool!
Truely amazing Pyro Takes Hat off - you are - indeed - a talented painter - and it's so nice to see, that you finally got the time to paint those BCsHappy

And the 4ed command group is great too - but that Marauder - WOW! - now thats a real jewel - awesome! Can't hardly wait for the next one. Which is ...?
Ahh! I love those Marauders - jobs well done PyroCheers!. And you also did a great job on Ori - I just love that fig.
Have you finished all your crossbowmen now?

Pyro Stick Wrote:
No i still have about 3 more and im going to try get the lot of about 16 on ebay.

Good luck - hope you'll get it Happy - would love to see a hole unit of these.

Very, very nice Pyro - as allways Takes Hat off - Just love this thread - and all the old Citadels/Marauder models

Pyro Stick Wrote:
Do you think i should include the second one in my cd army? If so, what should i use it as? I doubt a hobbit could be a slave master but it does look that part and it is a psychohobbit.

You should. As it's seems to be a all 3ed'ish/4ed'ish army - you could find many 3ed models to fit in with it - like Khardang Bloodsucker, Belekhost Deathbringer, Ekalim The Mad and many more. But you'll need a big walletHappy - it would make a nice pack of "berserkers".

First congrats with the reinforcement - and especially your beloved Mage - can't hardly wait to see what you have in mind for this one!

As said so many times before I just love this project of yours - and it so very nice to see all those classic models painted beautifully and lined up together.

And I'm just glad, that I could help you out in your Quest - by trading those 2 of my 11 xbow reserves with you.

And please give us some close ups, when you have finished the bases - please!
WOW! - great, great work as allways Takes Hat off - you really gave them the paintjob they deserves. And the Mages - BIGGER WOW! - love the blue colours a lot - andt I actually prefers the scheme on the resin one - think you should make him the shadowmancer.

As you know - I love your collection of old Marauder figs - and I hope that I'll have a similar collection in a near future too, thoght eBay-prices are a bit scaring at the moment Angry Do you have all 24 now?

And the resin casts looks good - you can't really tell!

Planning on any other resin casts - are you? Other Marauders perhaps Rolleyes

Ive seen scottishrockets new auctions and im planning on bidding on some marauders. I think i will leave the crossbowmen as i already have all that i want. Thanks anyway Takes Hat off

So would I - until I received answer to me question about his P&P. He would charged me around $20 for shipping just a few of them to europe Angry

WOW! another great model by you. It's (as allways) awesome, Pyro. And I really love what you did with the base. Very effective.

- and now let us see a Mage of Death Wink/'Necromancer' - please.
Those Crossbowmen were worth waiting for - so bright and clean - awesome. G! I love those old figs. Are this unit to be jointed with the Marauder crossbow men?

Is the Hero with axe 1 going to have a shield? If so, which shield?

Pyro Stick Wrote:
I might even try to make an xbowmen unit! (i wish...)

Ahh! 2 metals and 18 resins ?? Wink

Hope you'll succeed - It would look fantastic

As said on MSN great, great work Cheers!

Really like how you do those reds - the Boar Cenatur rocks - big time. Cant wait to see his 'machine' Wink (hope you will find those missing parts).

And seeing a painted Marauder Xbow always brings tears to you eyes Takes Hat off
