What are slaves and reputation on peoples profiles, and how do you obtain them?

At present there is no way to obtain slaves.  I am testing a plugin.  More people should read the News!

The plugin doesn't seem as good as I had hoped.

Nobody seemed to answer my question, how do you obtain slaves? Everybody seems to have at least one exept me
