a blood bowl site i was once part of had permission to make their own dice and send them to members who had signed up (cost something like $5). i cant see why it would be a problem, and i know there are definately sites out there that make custom dice.
would be worth looking into, i think something saying CDO would be pretty cool more affiliated with our little community.
Also, don't forget the dice themselves should look chaos-dwarfy as well, maybe black faces, with the numbers (or whatever is representing them) red, with red cracks around them to make the die look like some sort of volcanic rock, and I think the they should have CDO written on them, maybe in small writing in the corner of each face...
Maybe what would work (although not for blind people) is to drill 6 holes on all faces, but only colour in one on one side, two on another etc, although the dice wouldnt look as nice, I could see that working okay...

What you propably refer to is the NAF (worldwide blood bowl organisation), which gives out new sets of dice each year when you either sign up, or re-new your membership. I've been member of the NAF since 2005 and have about five sets of block dice back at home.

I have a set of gold mist black dice and they look awesome, you can see people look at them and they just think: wo, this guy is a pro!

No, especially when you think how many you would actually want. I would want about 25, that's $150 on dice!! ouch. It get's cheaper tho the more you order. If we were to come up with a design, take a bunch of orders and put it through in a one-er, it would be a lot cheaper. It says email for a quote for over 1000, hmm thats 40 of us wanting 25 CDO special edition dice. Judging by the other bulk discounts, this would probably be more like $0.38 per side, or about $2.30 per dice - $57 for the same amount, much better. Who would be interested? We could start a thread, invite designs for people vote on a final design and if we get enough interest, put a bulk order in for them. Obviously, someone from CDO Admin would have to OK the final design!!

id be happy with just one or 2 custom images, too many and it gets confusing.
Do chaos dwarfs have runic language like the dwarfs? surely they would still write and stuff. I was thinking of CD style rune numbers for 1-5 and a symbol of Hashut for 6. I've already started some concept sketches but need to go to bed now, it's late and my wife's in a funny mood!
