Welcome to the start of my WCSAP as I like to call it

.
Anyways here is the start of my chaos dwarf army. I'm a helmet/mask type of chaos dwarf and I am unlikely to use any of the official Chaos Dwarf figures. hob-gobs are another story as I plan on a lot of those from the various GW sites
Here is my first unit under sculpting construction, better pics to come, sorry its off of a camera phone, iPhone to be exact!
A unit of 24 chaos dwarf warriors 5 ranks by 6 wide.... Why that you say? Notice the 40mm by 60mm placeholders (i.e. the bases).... stay tuned; my general is going there, but you'll have to wait and see what exactly he will look like

hence not needing six more stunties.

Have a stand but no micro function. Getting a new camera for the family later this year that will have micro functionality on it.
It's Macro, not Micro. It looks like a little flower icon.
Sorry meant that!
<whistles at (Willmark's) own bad typing...
Awesome!! That hellcannon is just superb! like what you did with the dwarf statues, It all makes it one colossal centre piece!
General...way cool...palanquin...OMG too..much..cool..not..enough..words..arrrgh..head..pain...cool..overload!!!
and breathe.
Nice job WM!
In all seriousness two jobs, two young kids and a dog does impact the painting time.
That's why God invented C Beebies!!
I understand tho and smile wryly, as my 2 year old has a huge impact on my painting/moddeling schedule, my dog wont leave me alone once said 2 year old is tucked away in bed and by the time the dog has been sorted out, the wife complains that she hasn't had any of my attention. And I just have 1 job! Good grief!! (to quote a certain beagle's owner).
@ WM, keep up the good work!
looking awesome WM!! He is going to look very imposing on the battlefield. I love it!
you tease!
Lovely work, it looks great. I am now considering having my lord on a palanq..... palinqu..... pallyanqua...... carry thingy, great inspiration and a lovely job well done. Can't wait for the BC's!
UPDATE
Since we have been away I have been working away, though I need to pick the pace back up now that we are back online. So as a test I'm doing a small update here to see what we get rather then everything I have all at once. I've got 3-4 more sets of photo-updates to add.
Here are the finished Big-Uns! 250 points strong, bringing me to 1,250 points in total. Medal Please when you get done slacking there Mr. Xander
After this I have updates for my bolt throwers, and WIP pics of my Bull Centaurs, (what a nightmare it was getting the parts from GW: OOS, overcharging, double charging my account, sending to many of the wrong parts, then wanting to send me even more of the wrong parts! The list was endless!)
Also have my first hobbo wolf rider under construction along with a 2nd unit of CD warriors (great axes this time around).
All in all after the next few sets of photos it will be a bit of time before the next updates; mainly because I have to sculpt a bunch for both.
Still waiting on wings for my Taurus, so nothing new there.
My Lammasu is fully "Green Stuffed" and primed. Now it just needs a paint job. May start on the rider tonight.
Looking good. That banner is pure pwnage. Wish I had decent free-hand skills. I don't even have the same level of basic painting skills. Good job all around

Thanks HB! As I've said before Its all about what U can do, not others. If your happy with your painting thats all that matters.
They came up really well, you must be pleased with them. The banner is nice too (freehand painting is damned hard).
If only I could give slaves....
Yeah they came out pretty darn good. I'm most pleased with the Orc with the spiked mace in the back row. i made him from green stuff, orc and chaos warrior parts to fill out the unit.
You can give me some slave slater then
Looking good! I might have to loot that banner icon

.
Feel free, I wouldn't post them if I didn't want to inspire others.
I also forgot to mention that I have a Death Rocket under construction... So far no one has come up with this idea for one yet, at least I haven't seen one. Suspense you bet, next update maybe as I have 3-04 more photo updates ready to go.
UPDATE
At long last here are the WIP pics of my BCs. Anyone following the blog knows what a nightmare it has been to actually get all of the parts for this unit.
Right now I'd say they are at about the 1/3 stage of completeness. Only the left one with the double handed axe & the standard bearer on the far left is near being done. All others still need a bunch more green stuff on them.
Their waists are not even close to being done (only the afore mentioned one in front is). I had to add a lot of gs to give them some structural strength as it were. So what you see in those pics will be covered up. It also gives you an idea of the height of said BCs.
So here they are without further adieu:
Lastly next unit to be painted is the Lammasu which I have started with the basic colors on it. Stay tuned for that!
No worries my friend I usually post waaaayy to late sometimes (half asleep) or way to early (still half asleep),

nice work WM, Can't wait to see them all painted. Your blundies are ace btw. Good luck with your GHV Entry!
how about a pic of all your stuff so far wm?

for the WM CD machine!!!
Looks great, thanks for walking us through the first idea, concept, and execution.
Excellent work buddy!
The paint job on the stone worked out really well, and pulls off the statue look.
Those poor CD's having to lug around that much stone... all for the sake of army morale

Awesome! I love your stuff man, you are like a proper Chaos Dwarf Machine! Knocking out so much quality stuff, you are a real inspiration WM keep it up!!
One of which is Astragoth which I will use as such in home games at a whopping point total too, using Thommy's rules that appeared in Issue #1 of the WoH.
Cool
Let me know how he works out - the points cost was calculated rather than playtested, so it'll be interesting to see if he's balanced or not (I'm pretty sure he should be okay though).
I haven't commented before, but I have been following this blog. I'm not sure if it's your painting or photography which has improved, but those Arrer Boyz are a real step up to my eyes.
