Looking good. It's all fitting together rather well, IMO. If you're not going to have a hatted general, then whom shall have the hat? Or what'll it be used for? A giant blunderbuss mayhaps? A gift to a hat-friend? A leadbelcher blundercannon? A plinth? I'm intrigued as to all of the possibilities now...
They will be a total of 250 points. Can't wait to see it Wink
Looking good. That banner is pure pwnage. Wish I had decent free-hand skills. I don't even have the same level of basic painting skills. Good job all around Big Grin
Looking good! I might have to loot that banner icon Happy.
I'm happy with my painting, but it could still be better. Looking good with the bolt throwers, I especially like the shield barrier things.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I REALLY like the black and brown clothing on the second crew. it looks really, hmmm, natural? Like the sort of ordinary people's colours....
Looking good so far. Since you posted them, I'll give a little criticism (hopefully constructive). You're probably planning this already (seeing as they're only a third done), but make sure the waists are somewhat thicker. It might look a little unnatural for a dwarf and a bull to end up with a British size 0 waist is all. Unnatural considering the fact that we're pretending a dwarven bull is natural Big Grin
However, I'm loving the little details, like the champion's finger pointing out and the extension to the marauder banner. Good work, keep it up and get showing! Witht he lamassu, no matter how much I can't wait to see some progress, only post a finished pic of it Big Grin

HB you must have missed this part of the post. Wink

I guess you missed that part Big Grin I haven't really been awake today and I've had stresses. Give a guy a break when he's got the internet back after a week and has to attend to various staff duties on various websites and plainly catch up on others Tongue

That last post was at 7:23 am apparently and I didn't go to bed before hand! I need to get some sleep as when I'm fully awake, I'm half-asleep! (Wow, paradox or what!)
Wowza! That's mor ethan my standard of finished, so no worries there! To say that THAT isn't as good as it looks is mind baffling. Many congratulations on a fine job well done!
it sound slike everything is really coming along and pulling together nicely. An army shot of everything at the end would be impressive. Most impressive.
Teasing isn't what men do. they give the whole shabang Wink Show us what we want! Big Grin
DAYUM! Looks brilliant! I like the addition of a couple more marauder banners to make it wider. The only thing I could say to improve it, is that there may be too much gold. Only thing is, I don't know what colour you should put where... It has been worth the wait though and I can imagine what the real red looks like, if that helps Big Grin
Legs, hooves, tails and dwarf bodies on top? Am I right?
All looks lovely as always. One comment on the blundies (other than they look really cool), perhaps the horns should be more of a yellow instead of the red, just to prevent there being too much red in the unit. Or grey, as some of them have.

That count as standard bearer looks awesome and could always be a sorcerer or hero if you wished as well.

The wolfrider, when painted, you wouldn't realise it wasn't a hobgoblin miniature to begin with. Kudos, my dear sir!
I vaguely recalled that you were going to paint him as a statue. Even so, use him as a Level 4 Sorcerer every now and then. His brain still works at those times ;D
I like the final look. With the plinth, have you joined the rim of the sorcerer's base to the block? Show us PIP, please!
Looking very good.  PIP= paint in progress Big Grin I like the flames, I assumed they would be part of the statue. A little area effect lighting around them too, kudos.
Awesome work, man!  Some group shots of the army are in order! Happy
Wicked stuff! Keep it up. Happy
Nice Black Orcs dude.
