nice looking army, i noticed you use wood for the banner poles - blunder wip pic - have you looked at metal balloon hand whisks for cookery, i bought one a while ago for about 79p and its great, very hard metal 1.5mm thick - perfect banner/weapon haft width and makes around 6 - 8 poles about 6"long

Personally I didn't have a problem with getting them to rank up. I just slapped them together and staggered the models like on a checkerboard: great weapon, hand weapon, great weapon, etc... Are we talking about the new Black Orc plastic kits?

Nice work on the blorcs. I like the dirty look. Oh, and the deathrocket...brilliant! I have the same 40K bits as the heads on my deathrockets, but I never thought of using the organ gun. I used the 40K ork cannonz and straws for tubes. Your's looks waaaaay better. I hate to say it, but I may have to *yoink* that idea if I ever revamp mine.
No just for the gobbos I cut apart I was going use them as hobgoblins. So lets see 40x2=80 feet I had to re-add or there bouts as a few still had their original feet on them.
The heads are from Warhammer 40k. They are the tips for chaos predator tanks. I got the idea from by blunderbusses. I can't take credit for it as one of our forum members named Wizzbang came up with them last year.

why? Is it effective... I'm curious.
Don't know I doubt they are ever going to actually see the field. Lets look at them for a minute:
- crappy stats
- no heroes
- no magic items
And last but not least... Special choice? Our Specials suck, but gobbos as special when they are Core for O&G armies?????
