Here´s my work from the last week:





somehow I like this guy. It´s from my ebay-reinforcements and I don´t know from which manufacturer it´s from. But I think he fits well.

I love to create hero models. It´s a great problem of me, because I spent to much time in creating heros without focussing on my core troops. My Idea is simple: a troop out of hero models (Ironsworn / Immortals)



Those two are my foundation stone to a regiment out of hero-models

This command is actually finished but I´ve got just an old photo of them



When their troops are ready I might give the standartbearer and the drummer a hat to fit them into my army.

News form the weekend:

I started my magma cannon:


and made a picture of my second command:

I´m close to the 1000points!! ...

because my DSR has got a full crew ready now:

I finished my magma cannon (took the easy, dark way and decided for a necron sheme ... silver)









Now I´m finishing 6 gobbos (make 20 out of them, including my unit filler) and the crew of my cannon (scibor). While devlan mud dries I´m sculpting cd-beards for my lizard riders (bullcentaurs) ... pictures follow

Know what you mean, I found that for my skillz 400by400  is big enough for the pic of one model, 800by800 for a group.
The first has the advantage that you can place 2 pics in one row, for example front and back.

Well, it seem to work ...

I never found a "painting-weakness" in your minnies

Now you know the reason. Would trade a lot to be able to paint like ... say, Ravenswood or ARBAL or Veksi or such painters.

May I ask, what model did you use for your Magma Cannon?
