Looks good at first glance and on its own.
But I have no use for undead themed dwarfs.

Looks really good to me!

As a collector,  I'm very interested to get my hands on some of Norba's scenery products, simply because I've heard as many praises as curses for and against their company and I'd like to see how they truly are - but everything they've rendered looks spectacular to me.

One could replace the crewmen and have a nice alternative for the skull catapult?

I guess the poses could be a little more dynamic, but otherwise they look pretty sound!

Alas for the puny adventurer the Taurukh is crushing in his grip - very inspiring! Big Grin

As for the berzerkers, I don't know, maybe frenzied slayers should be left to regular dwarfs. CDs after all are better known for their rational, methodical efficiency, right?

RE: Norba Miniatures Release Disciples of LugarHPN 11-23-2018

Mixed feelings about the lugars. They are well done and clean. Maybe too clean...too ordered and static. IMHO solid, tanky poses are great for CD (and regular dwarfs too).
But lugars...i Always picture them like living flames entrapped in dwarfs bodies. Dynamic, like something about ti burst and struggling to hold the parts together.
Of course, is easier said than done, with the typical thick and short limbed dwarf body.

I think HPN and Forgefire are right about their poses. However the converter in me thinks they would be fantastic to stick on boars for boar centaurs ( count as  centigors or some such).
The Tauruk is cool though!

They’re a touch too lanky for my tastes, any the blades of the axes are a bit thick, but otherwise I like them.  Might be better off as Mesopotamian themed cultists (either fantasy setting or 40k) than evil dwarf berserkers.

RE: Norba Miniatures Release Disciples of LugarUther the unhinged 11-23-2018

OK I have been thinking (I know bad idea) but these on boars may not work. Old boars too static, new boars too big. But thinking outside the box they look like the would fit nicely onto wargs/gundabad wargs or space wolves. the wolves would provide the dynamism they lack. in 8th ed they could count as khans or wolf riders, in AoS marauder horsemen (don't think we are allowed to ally with beasts anymore), in KoW halfbreeds (though the existing figures are nice) and in T9A no idea.
There I feel better now the wine is soaking in.

Still, quite nice design otherwise. A small step in the right diection (i.e. Helblindi's artwork. Happy

The beserkers are nice minis... but... way too tall. They need to be more squat. As it is they look like small humans rather than dwarfs. Not sure ift is decades of seeing the scale of dwarfs as GW presents them or not but they look "off" to me.

Depending on what system you’re using you could use them as Chaos Marauder allies/mercenaries could to think of it; the extra height shows they’re humans while the beards show they’ve adopted Chaos Dwarf fashion due to their long association.  In fact if you’re good at sculpting you could add plate armour to them to make Chaos Warriors to follow the theme.
