thank you for adding me! I've played Fantasy since 6th edition and have always loved the Chaos Dwarfs!

Tjub and I have responded to your other post.  I personally do not know anything about AoS.
The Ninth Age and Kings of War are also games to check out for Chaos / Abyssal dwarfs as well.

I used to play in my earlies, when my blood was fierce, the lava was freshly molten & the 4th edition was still on... But now my power has faded and I'm almost petrified : I did not touch a mini since more than a decade !

My army is now stored in the deep dungeons of my attics & I was looking an eye on the internet to sell them but Ebay seem to be a trap to every seller/buyer.
So if I can find a guy here, with the fire still burning with the hobby passion, I will be glad to part some of my units rather than feed the ebay's chaos children...

Somehow I was able to get back in here after tracking down an ancient email account getting access to it and resetting my password! I joined CDO many years ago after I purchased a CD Juggernaut from "flea-bay"> My time here was great I made lots of friends, shared many stories and learned many things along the way. I ran a WFB only gaming club in Orange for 5 years before moving town and watching it die.. The hobby pretty much died for me at that point and I felt a bit like the guy above "Zmanah" but still I held onto my collection. The AoS arrived and after conversing with GW directly and realizing they did not give a damn about me I nearly joined many others and burnt my collection. But still I held onto it although turned my focus to other games. Now many years later after losing my best mate to MND I have re-entered my dungeon and spent WEEKS cleaning and re-organizing, purchasing new cupboards and putting my collection together in such an organized way that has never been seen in my dungeons! Fires can be re-kindled Abecedar, I am proof of that and sometimes when re-kindled they burn hotter than ever before! Special shout out to some good old mates that frequented here, Willmark, Xander, Obsidian, Kera Foehunter, Zorn Sabertooth, Grish Grimstonefire, gIL^ & Thommy H! Hope your all still around and I look forward to catching up with everyone and everything that has happened at CDO over the past 12 years!! Apparently my slaves did not live for through the 12 years, they seem to have starved and died lol!!

I have seen that link about a bit in the forum when I was browsing through.. I will have to create an account on the new one so I can catch up.. seems most the crew have moved across and this one is not used as much anymore, am I right?

Welcome back! That is correct. Old CDO will eventually have all its massive amounts of content manually transferred to new Discourse CDO (stories, art, homebrew rules, image compilations, wiki, tutorials, everything). All activity has moved to the new site, and we're catching up stragglers and returners here.

A bright future awaits us thanks to Discourse CDO forum; it has solved many issues which slowly pushed us down after 2015. Great to see you'll be a part of this fiery bright future.
