I'm with you Xander. This sculpting is amazingly awesome, the lips not so much. Need to be scaled down a tad IMHO.

Bloody awesome stuff you got there, I personanly like 3rd edition models and to see you make some BFSP into a bazooka team is legendary! Also good to see your thread up and running, been reading through all the major threads and wasn't sure what was happening and to see some new suff from you is great! bugger that you're in a school which thinks warhammer is nerdy, less pretty pics for us! Keep on making stuff to inspire us all kyte Happy

I saw Sting twice, but I was more impressed with Copeland, actually. Sting's voice is getting old, but Copeland is still one of the fastest drummers I've seen.

Keep it up!

YEah, but Sting was one of the players who inspired me to take up bass. Technically he is not brilliant but I just love his playing style. Clearly he got a case of string envy though when he took up the lute

RE: [23-11-2007] Kyte's Chaos Dwarf ArmyKyte 11-23-2007

This is like I start all my posts. Long time, delayed, blahblahblah.

As most older members might remember, I usually do something special around Christmas time. Something, that really really gives me some great sculpting and converting practice. 2 Years ago, I made my 3 Rhinox Riders from plastic toys, last year I made a Tzeentch Daemon-Prince from scratch (I still haven't finished it yet... Will I ever?...)

But this year, I will do something that everyone tends to do in these times. I will sculpt and cast something that you will be able to buy! So what do people need? People need Chaos Dwarfs. My intention is to sculpt 3 R&F Troopers with 5 weapon options, a Champion including parts to turn 2 regular troopers into a standard bearer and a musician.

This is what I have done so far:

2 regular troopers and 2 weapons.

I hope to have all the sculpts finished by christmas, where I'll hopefully get the casting materials. I would figure that a pack with 3 troopers and 3 random weapons would be about 4, and the command set including a champion and parts for standard and musician would be 3.

I don't think that would be too expensive, but it will have to pay back the materials, so it can't possibly be done any cheaper.

And by the way, the reason why I don't update is now not just my new school, but I have also started playing in an armateur band. (We play cover songs and metal)

Thanks

- Kyte

Wow!!  Probably your best sculpting work yet!

Perhaps try to sharpen up those scales!  They look a bit rounded.  They look pretty bulky, pehaps we could have a shot of them next to some other models for comparison?  Also, do they rank up? n.n

I am excited for this!
